B6U4同位语从句教学设计

一、教学目标
1. 知识目标:学生能够识别同位语从句,理解其定义、结构和功能;掌握常接同位语从句的抽象名词以及连接词的用法。
2. 能力目标:能够准确区分同位语从句和定语从句;能在写作中正确运用同位语从句。
3. 情感目标:通过欣赏经典演讲,培养学生对英语语言文化的兴趣,提升人文素养 。
二、教学重难点
1. 重点:同位语从句的定义、结构、常接的抽象名词及连接词;同位语从句与定语从句的区分方法。
2. 难点:在实际语境中正确运用同位语从句;清晰辨别同位语从句和定语从句。

四、教学过程
(一)导入(3分钟)
1. 播放马丁·路德·金《I Have a Dream》的演讲视频片段,让学生沉浸在激情澎湃的演讲氛围中。
2. 提出问题引导思考:“演讲中马丁·路德·金多次提到‘I have a dream’,他的梦想具体是什么?从演讲中找出相关句子。”
(二)同位语从句定义(5分钟)
1. 展示从演讲中选取的含有同位语从句的句子:
1. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed.
2. I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave-owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
2. 引导学生分析句子结构,小组讨论这些从句与抽象名词“dream”的关系。
3. 总结同位语从句的定义:同位语从句是在复合句中充当同位语的从句,用来进一步解释说明前面 抽象名词 内容的从句,并与所解释的名词在内容上为 同一/等同 关系。
(三)同位语从句结构分析(8分钟)
继续以上述句子为例,详细剖析同位语从句的结构:抽象名词+连接词+从句。
注意1:有时为了避免头重脚轻,同位语从句可以被其他句子成分隔开。
eg: News came that their team had won.
常见句式:
Word/News came that… 消息传来说…
A story goes that… 传说…
A saying goes that…有一句谚语说…
练习:找出同位语从句
1 No one can deny the fact that these temples were constructed in the 13th century.
2 Learning and travelling were exactly what helped Sima Qian in his later career as a historian.
3 An idea occurred to her that she could try another way.
4 That the space mission went so well was beyond our expectation.
(四)常接同位语从句的抽象名词归纳(8分钟)
1. 让学生再次回顾演讲内容,找出其中包含同位语从句的句子,提炼出先行词。
2. 引导学生结合已学知识,共同归纳常接同位语从句的抽象名词:
1 怀疑想法信念证明有可能:
doubt, idea/thought, belief, proof/evidence, possibility
2 消息决定问题事实与真相:
news/message/word, decision, question/problem, fact, truth
3 三建议三希望两要求一命令:
advice/suggestion/proposal, hope/wish/desire, request/demand, order
注意2:在表示要求、建议、命令的名词后面,同位语从句用虚拟语气:should + 动词原形,should 可省略。
3. 语法填空练习:
(1) The proposal that we (should) raise (raise) public awareness of heritage protectiom is worth considering.
(2) He gave the order that the patient (should) be sent (send) to hospital without delay.

注意 3 : doubt的同位语从句:否定句后用that;肯定句后用whether.
(六)同位语从句和定语从句的区分及练习(12分钟)
1. 展示同位语从句和定语从句的对比例句:
同位语从句:The news that they won the match is true.(“that our team won the game”解释“news”的内容 )
定语从句:The news that he told me is true.(“that he told me”修饰“news”,“that”在从句中作宾语 )
2. 从以下几个方面引导学生区分:
· 功能:同位语从句对名词进行解释说明,而定语从句对先行词进行修饰限定。
· 引导词:同位语从句的that无意义,不充当成分且不能省略;定语从句的that在从句中充当主语、宾语等成分,作宾语时可省略。
· 先行词:同位语从句的先行词多为抽象名词;定语从句的先行词可以是各类名词。
3. 给出更多句子让学生判断是同位语从句还是定语从句,并说明理由:
1 We have no doubt that UNESCO is trying to protect the heritage sites.
2 This was the clue that helped the police find the man who had destroyed the ancient statues.
3 Many people do not know the reason why this heritage site is threatened.
4 There is no question that we should protect our shared heritage -- we simply have to.
5 I want to plan my trip but I have no idea when the temples will open.

(七)巩固练习(Play a game)(9分钟)
1.判断下列句子中的从句是同位语从句还是定语从句:
(1) The possibility that you referred to doesn’t exist at all.
(2) There is a strong possibility that we may be in France for the next week.
2.将两个简单句合并为含有同位语从句的复合句:
简单句:
(1) We got the message.
(2) The sports meeting will be held next week.
答案:We got the message that the sports meeting will be held next week.
3.把下面句子改写成含有同位语从句的句子:
原句:We believe that the scientists are sure to find the cure for cancer.
改写句:We hold the belief that the scientists are sure to find the cure for cancer.
4.单句语法填空:
(1) There is some doubt whether we can finish the work on time.
(2) There is no doubt that we can finish the work on time.
(3) I will never forget the days when we work together.

1. 翻译下列句子。

4.没有证据表明,熬夜看比赛会对健康造成严重影响。(evidence)
五、教学反思
在教学过程中,要密切关注学生的反应和理解程度,及时调整教学节奏和方法。对于学生较难理解的同位语从句和定语从句的区分部分,可增加更多实例和练习,通过小组讨论、同桌互评等方式,让学生在交流中加深理解。
