The Grand Canyon is in the northwestern part of Arizona, America. The Colorado River goes through the canyon. The Grand Canyon is 277 miles long and over a mile deep.It is 4 to 18 miles wide.

①A snow maze(迷宫) in Western Canada has broken the record for the world's biggest. According to Guinness World Records, the huge 2,789.11-square-metre maze beats the previous(先前的) Canadian record holder at Fort William Historical Park in Thunder Bay.
②For years, farmers Clint and Angie Masse would be busy building a corn maze on their farm just outside of the small town of St Adolphe. Knowing there would be a long, cold winter in Canada, they decided to make a big snow maze instead.
③But it was not an easy thing, Clint Masse told AFP. He said building the maze required weeks of planning, tens of thousands of dollars and 370 trucks of snow. “Making snow is really expensive,” he said, pointing to the cost of renting(租借) generators, tractors and other equipment(设备), fuel and weeks of labour(劳动).
④There were design challenges too. “You're not designing a path. What you are doing is designing walls and every wall has a double duty: it's got a path on this side and a path on that side,” Masse said. The couple used computer-aided design software.
⑤Although temperatures dropped to a low of-40 degrees Celsius in January, people kept coming in droves. Inside the maze, visitors walked between walls of snow that were 1.8 metres high. “It was fun,” one of the visitors Crooks said. “We just kept turning every possible way. It took us a while. We didn't time it; we should have. Maybe half an hour? Yep!” If cold temperatures held, the maze could stay open for a few more weeks, and Clint Masse said he hoped to have more than 10,000 visitors.

The Horsetail Fall is one of Yosemite National Park's most amazing views. Around the second week of February, the setting sun hits the Horsetail Fall at just the right angle(角度) to light the upper parts of the waterfall. And when conditions are right, the Horsetail Fall becomes orange and red at sunset. It is like red-hot lava(熔岩) pouring down from the top of the El Capitan. So, it got the name “firefall”.
The firefall is a perfect match of the weather, the fall, the time and the watching place. It usually appears on dry, warm and cloudless days. There must be enough flowing water to make a firefall too. So there must
be enough snow on the mountain top, and it turns into water on warm afternoons.
The sun goes to the best place before the fall in late February. And the best time to watch the fall is 5 to 15 minutes before the sunset. Only at this time can visitors see the firefall. The El Capitan Picnic Area is the best place to watch, because it is close to the fall and is perfect to set up cameras and tents.
Every year in February, thousands of photographers come to watch the firefall. Although the view may appear just minutes before sunset,
many of them have to come hours earlier to get a right place to set up their cameras in time. “I'm just saying that the Yosemite Firefall is something you don't want to miss during the winter,” says Kate Moore, a traveller and the lead content creator for parkedinparadise.com.
( )27.Paragraph 1 mainly tells us ________.
A.how the firefall got its name
B.why it's easy to see the firefall
C.who was the first to find the firefall
D.on which day we can see the firefall
( )28.What can we know about the firefall?
A.It lasts for half an hour before the sunset.
B.It usually appears on wet, warm and cloudy days.
C.Rivers provide enough flowing water to make a fall.
