教学设计 课程基本信息 学科 初中英语 年级 七年级 学期 春季 课题 Unit 6 Rain or shine Reading Plus 教学目标 1.能够了解天气方面的习语及其含义，并在适当的时候用这些习语来表达自我。 2.能够用英语来谈论不同的天气情况对人的穿衣、活动等的影响。 3.通过本节课的学习，学生能够认识到天气的多样与多变性，认识到天气对人的情绪的影响，并努力调节自己的心态，不被天气所影响，做一个快乐的人。 教学重难点 教学重点： 1.学生能区分并运用现在进行时及一般现在时。 2.学生能够在教师指导下，准确描述出在不同天气状况下的活动以及心情。 教学难点： 1.学生能了解并在适当语境中运用更多英语习语。 2.学生能够认识到天气的多样与多变性，认识到天气对人的情绪的影响，并努力调节自己的心态，不被天气所影响，做一个快乐的人。 教学过程 1. Prediction Activity 1: Look at the picture and talk about what is the picture about. The the teacher leads out the title of the passage and guides students to understand it. Then present the first reading tip. 2. Fast reading Activity 2: read the passage quickly and find out the structure of the passage. Activity 3: read the passage quickly and match the main idea of each paragraph. Then present the second reading tip. 3. Careful reading Activity 4: read Part 1 and answer some questions. Activity 5: read Part 2 and find out the weather language in this part and their meanings. Then try to understand why people use weather language. Activity 6: Let’s guess! Teacher presents more weather language and guides students to understand them. Activity 7: Read Part 3 and think:What is the fact? Why? And what is the writer’s advice? 4. Post-reading Activity 8: summarize! Teacher guides students to close their books and fill in the blanks. Try to use their own words to talk about weather and mood. Activity 9: Let’s enjoy! Teacher guides students to understand that we should go outside more often and not be afraid of the weather. 5. Homework Must-do: Search for more English idioms related to the weather theme and write out their Chinese interpretations. Share them with your friends.
