Collecting information is very important to a businessman.
Staying up too late is bad for our health.
It's no use/ good doing sth.;
It's a waste of time doing sth.;
It's so nice/foolish/interesting doing sth.
It's so nice talking to you.
It's no good smoking. You'd better give it up.
It's no use arguing with him.
It's a waste of time waiting here.
Seeing is believing. To see is to believe.
It's no use/ no good doing;It's a waste of time doing等当中,通常用动名词。
It is a waste of time watching TV too much.
It is+adj.+to do和It is+adj.+for/of sb.to do等当中,常用不定式。
It's necessary for us to learn English well.
It's not difficult for you to finish the work on time.
suggest,finish, admit,advise,avoid,can't help,consider,deny,enjoy,escape,excuse,leave off,mind等。
Thank you for helping me.
get down to着手做,
find one's way to设法达到,
admit to承认,
take to喜欢上,
make it to成功的到达,
look up to尊敬,
lead to导致,
look forward to期盼(盼望),
stick to坚持,
object to反对,
be used to习惯于,
devote oneself to献身于,
object to反对等。
This book is worth reading.
This bike needs repairing.

In 1937, famous mountaineers Bradford Washburn and Bob Bates set out to climb Mount Lucania-the thirdhighest mountain in Canada-for the first time in history.
The pair flew to Walsh Glacier and began their journey in June. However, because of bad weather conditions, the two climbers had to travel as light as possible. So, they gave up their heavy equipment (装备), including three cameras, which they planned to come back for later.Though they did successfully reach the top of the mountain, they never returned to get their equipment.
In 2020, skier Griffin Post read about the 1937 climb in a book and decided to search for the equipment. After doing some 3D mapping and seeing old photos, he got in touch with two glaciologists (冰川学家) and asked for their help to find the equipment.
In late April, 2022, they made the journey. The team thought they had a pretty good idea of where the cameras were left in 1937, but the Walsh Glacier wasn't moving at a constant speed(不变的速度) from year to year like most glaciers. In fact, the team didn't succeed. But in August, they returned. After searching for six days, they finally found the cameras, tents, cooking equipment, etc., more than 12 miles from where they were left.
Now, experts are working to keep the cameras in good condition and see whether any of the photos can be recovered(复原).Even if the photos have been lost to time, finding their location provides important information on how the glacier has moved, according to ABC News.

Collecting information is very important to a businessman.
Staying up too late is bad for our health.
It's no use/ good doing sth.;
It's a waste of time doing sth.;
It's so nice/foolish/interesting doing sth.
It's so nice talking to you.
It's no good smoking. You'd better give it up.
It's no use arguing with him.
It's a waste of time waiting here.
Seeing is believing. To see is to believe.
It's no use/ no good doing;It's a waste of time doing等当中,通常用动名词。
It is a waste of time watching TV too much.
It is+adj.+to do和It is+adj.+for/of sb.to do等当中,常用不定式。
It's necessary for us to learn English well.
It's not difficult for you to finish the work on time.
suggest,finish, admit,advise,avoid,can't help,consider,deny,enjoy,escape,excuse,leave off,mind等。
Thank you for helping me.
get down to着手做,
find one's way to设法达到,
admit to承认,
take to喜欢上,
make it to成功的到达,
look up to尊敬,
lead to导致,
