介绍中国春节
I’m glad you’re interested in Chinese traditional festivals.
Let me tell you about the Spring Festival, which is the most
important one in China. It usually falls in January or
February.
Before the festival, people are busy preparing. They
clean their houses to sweep away bad luck and decorate
them with red lanterns and couplets, which symbolize good
fortune. On New Year’s Eve, families get together for a big
dinner. After that, they often watch the Spring Festival
Gala on TV and stay up late to welcome the new
year.During the festival, people visit relatives and friends
to exchange greetings. Children are especially happy
because they can receive lucky money from elders. Many

places also have activities like setting off fireworks, which
make the festival more lively.
It’s a time full of joy and warmth. If you have a chance
to come to China during the Spring Festival, you’ll love it.

一次难忘的助人经历
Last Sunday, I went to the park with my friends Mike
and Amy. We had a great time taking photos of each other
at the park gate. I was just about to take a picture of
Mike and Amy when I noticed an old blind grandma. She
was holding a stick and trying to walk across the road,
where cars were passing by quickly. It looked really
dangerous.
We stopped taking photos at once. I ran over to hold
her arm gently, and Mike and Amy stood on both sides to
guide her. “Don’t worry, grandma. We’ll help you cross
the road,” I said softly. She smiled and thanked us. We
walked slowly, making sure no cars were coming, until we
safely led her to the other side. After that, the grandma

kept saying “thank you”. Though we didn’t take many
photos that day, I felt very happy.
It made me realize that helping others is a kind of
responsibility, and the joy from it is more precious than
any photo. That experience will stay in my mind forever.

针对一个安全问题的建议
I notice a safety problem. Many students ride bikes too
fast on the way to school, especially when passing through
crowded streets. Some even run red lights to save time,
which is really dangerous and may cause accidents.
To keep safe, here is my advice. First, students should
ride at a proper speed and never rush. Second, always
follow traffic lights—stop when it’s red and go only when
it’s green. Third, pay attention to the surroundings, like
cars and pedestrians, to avoid collisions. What’s more,
wearing a helmet while riding can protect us if there’s an
accident.
Safety is crucial for everyone. Let’s take care of
ourselves and make sure we stay safe every day.
