Once upon a time,a king lost his leg and eye during a war,but his cleverness and kindness made him a great king.
One day,the king walked through the palace and saw the portraits(肖像)of his ancestors(祖先)on the walls.He wanted to have his own portrait.However,he wasn't sure what his painting would look like because of his physical problems.He invited some famous painters to the palace,promising to pay them a lot of money.Many painters soon started making excuses and left the palace one by one,because they were afraid of getting punished(惩罚).
