My Future Life
In 20 years, I will be a 35-year-old woman with a tall
figure and short hair, which I think will make me look
energetic.
I hope to work as a teacher at Xi’an Jiaotong University.
Teaching has always been my dream, and I want to help
students explore knowledge and grow.
In my free time, I plan to keep two hobbies: reading and
swimming. Reading can enrich my mind, while swimming
helps me stay healthy and relaxed.I also wish to have a
happy family. Maybe I’ll have a lovely child and a
supportive partner. We’ll spend weekends together, going
for walks or having meals, making life full of warmth.
This is my vision of the future. I’ll work hard to make it
1 / 2
come true.

我家的家规
I’m Alice, and there are too many rules in my family.
My parents are strict with me, but I often feel they don’t
understand me.
They never allow me to go out at night, even with my
classmates. They say it’s dangerous, but I think it’s unfair.
When it comes to clothes, I can’t choose what I like—they
always pick clothes they think are “suitable,” which makes
me feel unhappy.
What bothers me most is that they care only about my
grades. They don’t let me spend much time on my hobbies,
like drawing. They say it’s a waste of time, but drawing
helps me relax.
I know my parents love me, but I hope they can give me
1 / 2
more freedom. I wish they could understand that good
grades aren’t everything, and hobbies and happiness matter
too.

我心中的家规
Among all the family rules, the one I agree with most is
“We must have dinner together every evening.”
My parents made this rule to ensure we spend time
talking to each other. No matter how busy we are, we put
down our phones and share our days—my school stories,
my mom’s work funny stories,my dad’s new hobbies.This
rule keeps our family close. I’ve learned more about my
parents’ thoughts, and they understand my worries better.
Simple meals feel warm because of the conversations. It
teaches me the importance of communication and family
bonds.
I hope this rule will stay forever. It’s not just a rule,
but a way to keep our love alive.
