教学过程
Step 1: Warm up
1. 欣赏歌曲。
T: Let’s listen to a song, tell me what is it about?
Ss: Weather.
T: Yes. What’s the weather like today?
Ss: It’s sunny.
Step 2: Lead in
1. 帮助学生回顾关于天气的单词。
T: Do you remember the words? Snow, rain, windy, sunny, cold, warm and hot.
2. 引出未来天气的表达。
T: What will the weather be like tomorrow?
Step 3: Presentation
1.请学生看 Activity 1 视频并一起chant.
T: And what’s the weather like tomorrow? Do you know?
Ss: No.
T: So we need the weather report. Let’s listen and chant.
2.听 Activity 2 的录音并连线。
T: Let’s listen to a weather report and match the cities with the weather.
3.再次听 Activity 2 视频并核对答案。
4.观看 Activity 2的天气预报视频,跟读模仿。
T: Can you tell me the differences between will and will be?
Step 4: Practice
1.争当气象播报员!To be a good reporter!
T: Who can broadcast the weather of the four cities?
2.我国幅员辽阔,不同的城市,不同的气候特征。
T: Different cities, different climate characters.
Step 5: Extension
1.同桌对话练习Activity 3.Ask and answer.
A: It will snow tomorrow. Where am I?
B: You are in Harbin.
A: That’s right.
2.回顾上节课Daming和Simon的野餐经历,说明:制定外出活动计划前观看天气预报。
3.小组活动:Make a plan according to the weather.
Do a survey and fill in the work sheet.Then make a report.
Eg: It will rain on Sunday. Lily is going to read a book at home.
4.Better plan, better life.
Homework
1.Watch the weather report today and write down 5 cities, then make a report.
2.Watch the weather report and make a plan for the weekend.Then tell about it.
