But Adams believed that people in hospital need more than medicine. He saw unhappy and lonely people, and he tried to help them as patients, but as people too. He spent a lot of time with children in the hospital and often dressed up like a clown to make the children laugh
When he finished medical school and become a doctor, Adams opened his own hospital, called “the Gusundheit Institute”, together with some other doctors. They wanted it to be a place with a different way of working with sick people.
Hunter Adams became famous during the 1980s, and in 1988, Universal Pictures made a film about his life. It was very successful. In the film, Robin Williams played Adams. Do you remember what you were doing?
We went around asking people if they could remember what they were doing on July 20, 1969 when astronauts walked on the moon for the first time. Here is what they said:
John Bates
I was 18 years old. I was watching TV at home and saw the news about the first astronaut who walked on the moon. His name was Neil Armstrong. I remember he could jump really high because people aren’t so heavy on the moon. He became a national hero in America, and famous all over the world.
Paul Robinson
I was 12 years old. I don’t remember what I was doing, but I remember I was so excited and I wanted to go to the moon, too. My dream was to become an astronaut and fly to space in a rocket. I wanted to see the earth from the moon because the astronauts said that the earth looked very beautiful from there.
Linda Brown
I remember that I was working that day. I was 20 years old then. I didn’t see them land on the moon because I was busy, but I read about it in the newspaper the next day. I thought it was amazing. Maybe I can have my vacation on the moon one day!
Mark Green
I was only seven years old then. I did hear my parents talking about it excitedly when I went home, and I learned about it later in school. But I don’t remember what I was doing when it happened. 【答案】例文:
Bravely Face Problems
Problems and worries are normal in life. In my class, some students can’t get on well with their parents. Also, some don’t get enough sleep because they have lots of pressure from studies.
As for these problems, I have some advice. First, why not communicate with your parents more often? Sharing your feelings helps them understand you better. Second, you should finish your homework quickly and avoid staying up late. Developing a good habit of time management can ensure you enough sleep.
In my opinion, facing problems bravely is important. Only when we take action can we solve them and lead a happier life.

I think I was too young to remember. Maybe I was having fun in the playground with my friends when it happened.
