Unit 1 Finding happiness
Narrator: Once upon a time, there was a town called “The Town of Tears”. People there were always sad. One day, a wise man came to the town. He decided to help the people there find happiness. The wise man told a funny joke.
Wise man: Why is the maths book sad? Because it has too many problems!
Narrator: After people stopped laughing, the wise man told the same joke again.
Man 1: Why is he telling us the same joke?
Man 2: Can't he think of a new one?
Narrator: The wise man told the joke a third time. Now, no one laughed.
Woman: (calling out) Why do you tell the same joke again and again? We want to learn the key to happiness.
Wise man: (peaceful and smiling) You can't laugh at the same joke again and again. So why do you cry over the same problem again and again? Stay positive and move on. And that, my friends, is the key to happiness.
