What if you live alone (独自)? You may think it is tough to train. In fact, it’s not. Well, I’m sure you have a friend who would love to train with you. You are not alone. The important thing is to have a plan and to make the time to do it. It will be much more fun than doing it on your own.

Do you know that colorful foods can make you healthier? Eating colorful foods isn’t just fun. Scientists say we should eat foods in five colors every day—just like a rainbow!
Rainbow foods are fruits and vegetables in different colors. They are good for our health. Each color stands for different nutrients (营养) that our bodies need.
Red & Orange: Energy friends
Tomatoes and carrots have vitamin C. My mum makes carrot soup for us every Thursday. “It helps you see better,” she says. I always feel more energetic after eating them.
Yellow & Green: Body Protectors
Bananas give us potassium (钾) for sports. Broccoli has iron (铁元素) for healthy blood. I like to put broccoli in my fried rice—it looks like little green trees!
Blue & Purple: Brain Food
Blueberries and eggplants have good things called antioxidants (抗氧化剂). They keep our brain cells safe and help blood move better. I often have blueberries with yogurt for breakfast because this healthy habit helps me remember English words more easily.

Do you like sports? Do you train with your family or friends? I love training with my husband Chris. I also train with my brother, his wife and our cousins. It’s like family fun time! The competition also makes us work out a little harder.
If you can get your friend to join you, you will be able to (能够) encourage each other on those days when the other doesn’t feel like moving. If you set yourself a goal and add some competitions, the training will be much more fun. Time will fly by and you will want to do it again.
This is why I had the courage to learn Chris’s favourite sport—climbing. It was challenging for me but now we have more fun things to do together. In turn, I introduced Chris to two of my favourite sports: horse riding and hurdling (跨栏赛跑). Now he also loves them.
What if you live alone (独自)? You may think it is tough to train. In fact, it’s not. Well, I’m sure you have a friend who would love to train with you. You are not alone. The important thing is to have a plan and to make the time to do it. It will be much more fun than doing it on your own.

Eat the Rainbow
Let’s play a game! Try this challenge: Eat 15 different colorful foods this week. Draw a rainbow chart and put stars on the colors you try. You will feel the difference!
