1.定义:表示过去发生的动作或存在的状态
①陈述句结构
②肯定陈述句:主语+动词过去式(+地点+时间状语).
③否定陈述句:主语+was/were not+其他./主语+didn't+动词原形(+其他).
2.动词过去式的规则变化
(1)一般直接在动词词尾加-ed,如: look→looked, pick→picked;
(2)以不发音的e结尾的动词,在词尾直接加d,如:like→liked, live→lived;
(3)以“元音+y"结尾的动词,过去式一般直接在词尾加-ed,如:play→played;
(4)以“辅音字母+y”结尾的动词,先将y改为i,再加-ed,如:study→studied,try→tried;
(5)以重读闭音节结尾,且末尾只有一个辅音字母的动词,要先双写这个辅音字母(尾字母),再加-ed,如:stop-stopped, plan-planned.
