Scott Andrusz is a 63-year-old farmer. He wanted to grow a huge pumpkin. Certain kinds of pumpkins can grow really big, but Andrusz didn’t want to grow just any big pumpkin. He hoped to grow the heaviest pumpkin in the State of New York.
Andrusz took good care of his pumpkin. In the end, he not only broke the state record but also broke the record for the heaviest pumpkin ever grown in the United States.
