They are not from America. (2)情态动词的否定式是在其后面直接加not。如: I shouldn't leave there. (3)实义动词变否定句时,要借助助动词do,does,did或have,has,had。如: He didn't have any cake for breakfast. He doesn't work in a bank. We don't often hear from her. They haven't finished their work by now. Tom hasn't gone to Beijing. 1. They don't ________(charge) anything for the service. In fact, I'm on our city team. 提醒:回答一般疑问句除了用yes或no外,也可用certainly,probably,perhaps,of course,all right,with pleasure等代替yes,用never,not at all等代替no。 —Would you mind if I opened the window? —Not at all. 2. 一般疑问句的结构 be/助动词/情态动词+主语+谓语/系表结构(+其他) 问句1: Is this your English book? 肯定答语: Yes, it is. 否定答语: No, it isn't. 问句2: Can you speak English? 肯定答语: Yes, I can. 否定答语: No, I can't. 问句3: Do your parents like English? 肯定答语: Yes, they do. 否定答语: No, they don't. 3. 否定的一般疑问句的答语 yes的含义为“不”,no的含义为“是”,但在回答这类句子时,应该注意yes后接肯定结构,no后接否定结构。 —Aren't you Mr. Smith? —Yes, I am./—No, I am not. “难道你不是史密斯先生吗?” “不,我是。”/“是的,我不是。” (二)特殊疑问句 1. 特殊疑问句的定义及结构: 用特殊疑问词引导的疑问句叫作特殊疑问句。其基本结构为:特殊疑问词+be/助动词/情态动词+主语+谓语/表语(+其他)。 Who is singing in the room? What did you give her to eat? 2. 特殊疑问词: 特殊疑问词分为两类:疑问代词和疑问副词。 (1)疑问代词:who,whom,whose,which,what。 Whose are those shoes? Which class are you in? (2)疑问副词:when,where,why,how。 Where are you from? How do you know? (三)选择疑问句 1. 选择疑问句的定义及结构: 一般提出两种或两种以上的可能,问对方选择哪一种。其结构可用一般疑问句,也可用特殊疑问句,供选择的部分由or连接,or前的部分用升调,or后的部分用降调。 —What would you like,tea or coffee? —I'd like some tea,please. 2. 选择疑问句的答语: 其答语必须是完整的句子或其省略式,不能用yes或no来回答。 —Is she tall or short? —She is tall. (四)反意疑问句 1. 反意疑问句的构成: (1)这种问句由两部分组成,前一部分是陈述句,后一部分是附加的简短问句(称为Question tag),中间用逗号隔开,因此,反意疑问句又称附加疑问句。 (2)如果陈述句是肯定句式,附加问句用否定句式;如果陈述句是否定句式,附加问句用肯定句式。附加问句一般由“be动词/助动词/情态动词+代词”构成。 —You like this book,don't you? —Yes,I do. “你喜欢这本书,是不是?” “是的,我喜欢。” 2. 反意疑问句需注意的问题: (1)附加问句中的主语要用代词;如果陈述句的主语是名词,用相应的代词指代该名词。 (2)如果陈述句中没有系动词、情态动词或助动词,附加疑问句中就要根据陈述句的时态选择适当的助动词。 Your brother gets up at six every morning,doesn't he? 你弟弟每天早上6:00起床,是吗? 3. 反意疑问句的答语: (1)反意疑问句的答语一般用由yes或no引导的简略答语来回答。 —She is your teacher,isn't she? —Yes,she is./—No,she isn't. “她是你的老师,是吧?” “是的,她是。”/“不,她不是。” (2)在前否定后肯定的句子中,yes含义为“不”,no含义为“是”。如: —She can't swim,can she? —Yes,she can./—No,she can't. “她不会游泳,对吗?” “不,她会。”/“是的,她不会。” 1.(24-25高一下·广东茂名·阶段练习)You have finished your homework, ________ you? 【答案】haven’t 【详解】考查反意疑问句。句意:你已经完成作业了,是吗?反意疑问句中问句部分的动词与陈述部分的动词在语气上成相反的对应关系,即:肯定+否定?否定+肯定?此处为肯定句,且助动词为have。故填haven’t。 2. In fact, creating opportunities to make friends and build community was part of the reason Fairfax County Public Schools decided to introduce sports to its middle schools for the first time this year.
