How are you? I’m going to Yunnan for the summer holiday. My uncle lives in Kunming with his two children. Kunming is in the south of China. It’s always warm and there are lots of flowers. So it’s got another name, the Spring City. I’m going there with my parents by plane. I’m going to take some clothes, shoes and presents. I made a panda kite and drew a picture for my cousins. I think they’ll like the presents. I’m going to take a walk in Dali and climb the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (玉龙雪山).

Monday, June 10th

We had a happy school trip today. We took the school bus to the Happy Village. In the morning, it rained. We couldn’t go around the village. We could only see some animals in a hall. I took lots of pictures of them. I bought some gifts in the shop too. After about one hour, the rain stopped. We could go outside.

I saw a rainbow (彩虹) in the sky. I was excited. In the afternoon, we played lots of games in the village. I had fun. It was a good day.
