Dear Sun Meng,
In your last e-mail, you asked me how to deal with (应对) stress and worries. One good way that many students in my country find helpful is using a worry box. Let me explain how to make and use one.
Try using a worry box
☞Make a special box
Use colorful things and pictures to make your worry box. Here is a picture of my worry-eating monster (怪兽) box! ^_^
☞Write down your worries
Take some pieces of paper and write down your worries on the paper.
☞Rate (评价) your worries and store (储存) them in the box
If you like, place each worry on a scale (等级) from 1 to 10.1 means “a little worried” and 10 means “the most worried”. For example, today I put two worries into the box. I rated “losing my new bike” as a 7 and “worrying about the math exam” as a 4.
☞Talk it out
Make sure to make some time every day or week to talk about your worries with your parents. Together, you can find ways to deal with them.
By using the worry box, you’ll learn to deal with your worries. Take care!
Yours,
Anna

The bamboo train is also called “norry” in the Cambodian language (柬埔寨语). Different from a traditional train, the bamboo train is a bamboo board placed on two sets of wheels. It has a small engine (引擎), usually from a motorcycle (摩托车).
The bamboo train came around in the 1980s, after the Civil War (内战) in Cambodia. This war destroyed (毁坏) many roads and railways in the country. At first, the bamboo train was invented for sending things and people on the railway. Today, it has become a symbol of countryside life in Cambodia and a fun experience for visitors.
A bamboo train can carry up to four passengers, not including (包括) the driver. It can run up to 40km/h on the railway. The journey takes about 30 minutes. During the ride, you can enjoy green fields, small villages and so on in the open air.
The bamboo train is available all year round, but the best time to ride it is during the dry season from November to early May. The weather during these months is warm and nice, making it perfect for a ride. Also, keep in mind that the bamboo train can be busy on holidays and weekends, so riding on a weekday might be better if you want a quieter trip.

Dear Sun Meng,
In your last e-mail, you asked me how to deal with (应对) stress and worries. One good way that many students in my country find helpful is using a worry box. Let me explain how to make and use one.
Try using a worry box
☞Make a special box

Take care!
Yours,

Dear Jack,
How’s it going? These days I’m very nervous because of some problems. First, I had a fight with my desk mate, because he always used my things without asking. Second, I am shy and I don’t have many friends. Third, my parents often argue. I don’t know what to do. I really need your help. Can you give me some advice?
Yours,
Fu Xing
