In grade seven, everything was new, making friends, joining the school dance club and learning to manage homework. I still remember my first performance. My hands shook, but my classmates cheered for me. Their smiles made me brave. Great eight brought chAllenges. Math was really hard for me. I almost cried over low scores, but my teacher said, mistakes help you grow. I stayed after school to practice and asked friends for help. By the end of the term, my math grade has improved by twenty points. I learned that hard work pays off. In grade nine, I became more confident. I was chosen as the class monitor and organized our graduation party to get IT ready. I stayed after school every tuesday and wednesday. During the party, my friends and I left about our old photos.
