The teacher says ：“Today we will learn some words of transport.”Pre-listening: The teaching about new words: bus,train,ship,taxi,car,plane,bike,underground Activity1 Read and repeat The teacher reads these new words some times and students repeat after the teacher. Activity2:Listen and guess. The teacher shows some video about some special sound about the transport，such as the sound of the train whistling. Students have a guess about the corresponding transport. Activity3: See the shadows and guess. The teacher shows some shadows of different kinds of transport. Students have a guess about the corresponding transport according to the shadows. While-listening Step1:Answer the question: Question:Where will they go? Answer:The Hunan Museum. Step2:Let’s match. Students need to match the names and the ways to go to the Hunan Museum. Mingming goes there by bus. Peter goes there by underground. Lingling and Anne go there on foot. Step3.Listen the conversation in part A and answer the question. Question: What transport can we hear? Answer: Bus and ship. Step4:Listen and repeat The teacher plays the video of part A and part B ,and students repeat. Post listening Group work. Students need to do a survey about how they go to school. One student in the group need to write down the results. One student need to do a report. The sentences will be used: How do you go to school?
