A unique opening ceremony
Paris has kept its promise to start the 2024 Olympics in a uniquely romantic way. For the first time ever, the Olympics’ opening ceremony was not held in a stadium. Instead, it took place in the city center, with the Seine River as the backdrop. This allowed more people to enjoy the celebrations and performances compared to a traditional stadium setting.
