The teacher let students read the phrases “brush your teeth”“wash your face”and “exercise”some times again. Pre-reading Step1: The chant in part H. Activity1: The difficult words: kite,light,high The teacher reads the difficult words in this chant at first. Students have a try to read the whole chant together. Activity2:Underline the words. Students need to underline the words containing the letter I. Activity3:Find what sound does the letter I make. Students read the words underlined some times to find what sound does the letter I make in these words. Step2: Have a discussion. Students can have a group discussion about the question that:“What should we do before we go to the bed?” While-reading: Answer the questions. Question1:What time is it? Answer: It is nine o’clock. Question2: What does Tim do before he goes to the bed? Answer:He brushes his teeth, washes his face and takes a shower. Post-reading Activity1:Role play One student acts as Dino, one acts as Tim and the one acts Tim’s mom to show the conversation. Activity2:Good habits and bad habits The teacher writes down some good habits and bad habits on the blackboard. Students need to find the good habits from them and write down.
