A Trip of Nature
Hello, everyone! It’s my great honor to share my trip to Hubei Zoo, a wonderful place to learn about animals. I went there by bus together with my teachers and classmates last term. We enjoyed a lot of fun activities there.
One of them was collecting information about animals we are interested in. It was so fascinating to watch the pandas climbing the trees that I was completely attracted by these lovely creatures. And sharing our favourite animals in groups made the visit more exciting. When my classmates described the dolphin show she enjoyed, I was impressed. It was my first time to know they were such good performers. I couldn’t wait to know more about them.
What an unforgettable and meaningful trip! It increased my knowledge as well as my curiosity about animals. In the future, I hope to get closer to nature and make friends with more animals. Thank you for listening.

I will never forget the experience I had last summer. Getting tired of my study, I didn't want to go to school anymore. I thought working would be more interesting than studying. I found a part-time job during my summer vacation, delivering newspaper from door to door. At first, I thought the work would be easy. But it turned out that I was wrong. When I got to the first house, a dog jumped out suddenly. I was scared but no one came to help me. At that time, I realized that working was much more difficult than studying in the classroom. Now I'm sitting in the classroom, happy and hard working.

Last year, I worked as a young marketing person in a company. The day was filled with tasks: preparing for meetings, answering sales calls and booking hotels. The list was endless. By the end of the day, I was not only tired but also angry with myself and everyone around me. It was at this time that Paul invited me to his house to chill out.
Although tired, I was excited to chat with Paul and learn from his rich experience in marketing. As I entered his house, Paul started singing a song: I have a dream, a song to sing, to help me cope with anything ... I didn’t want to listen to his singing. I wanted to hear about how he dealt with sales calls.
As I was ready to tell him about that, I was surprised at what I saw next. Two young girls walked over to Paul. They could neither walk steadily (稳步地) nor speak. Their faces were full of smiles when they heard the song.
I asked Paul who these girls were. Paul explained, “I also have a dream to make these girls happy. They are my daughters and they were born with special diseases.” And he further added, “Their mother died when they were very young.”
I was moved to tears. In the office, no one knew what Paul was going through in his personal life. He never wanted his friends to take pity on him. In fact, he always helped us and encouraged us to move forward in life. He was always positive. He was full of hope and energy all the time.
Paul has influenced me a lot. If a man can smile in the face of these troubles, nothing can stop him from achieving success.

a scale
Gravity(重力) is what keeps you on the ground. It pulls you back to the ground when you jump in the air. Without gravity, you would fly into outer space. Gravity pulls everything toward the center of the Earth with a certain amount (数量) of force. This amount of force is called weight. You can find the weight of an object by putting it on a scale.
All planets and moons have the force of gravity. Some planets and moons have more gravity than the Earth. Other objects in space have less. 'The planet with the strongest force of gravity is Jupiter.
The Moon is smaller than the Earth. This means that it has less gravity than the Earth. Things will weigh less on the Moon than on the Earth. If you weighed 60 pounds on the Earth, you would weigh about 10 pounds on the Moon! Since there is less gravity on the Moon, people can jump higher there. Astronauts bounced(弹跳)high when they walked on the Moon. If you threw a ball on the Moon, it would fly very far. In a baseball game, you would hit a home run every time!
Some planets like Jupiter and Saturn are much bigger than the Earth. Objects weigh more on these bigger planets. There is more force that pulls things down. On Jupiter, you would weigh about twice as much as you weigh on the Earth. Your arms would weigh twice as much! How would it feel to throw a baseball? Some things might be easier to do on Jupiter. Imagine how fast you could skate down a hill. There would be more gravity pulling you down!
26. What does Paragraph 1 mainly talk about?
A. Where to find gravity.
B. How to weigh an object.
C. Why the Earth has gravity.
D. What gravity and weight are.
27. Which has the strongest force of gravity?
A. The Earth.
B. Jupiter.
C. The Moon.
D. Saturn.
28. If a man weighs 150 pounds on the Earth, his weight is about____on the Moon.
A. 25 pounds
B. 75 pounds
C. 225 pounds
D. 300 pounds
29.What would happen if you threw a ball and there was no gravity according to the passage?
A. It would fall back toward the ground at once.
B. It would fly high and drop from a great height.
C. It would fly off into the air and not come down.
D. It would reach a height and move around the Earth.
30.What's the structure of the passage?(P= Paragraph)

第一节 任务型阅读(共5小题,每小题2分,满分10分)
Smartphones have become an important part of our daily lives. However, to protect younger students’ eyesight and make sure they focus on their studies, primary and middle schools will have more specific rules to limit students’ mobile phone use on campus.
The Ministry of Education released a notice that basically speaking, primary and middle school students can’t carry mobile phones to school and those who still require their phone for some reason must get their parents’ and teachers’ agreement and must hand their phones over during class time. The purpose of the notice is to improve students’ focus on study and fight addiction (沉迷) to the Internet and games.
According to a 2020 report by the China Internet Network Information Center, China had 150 million Internet users under the age of 18 in 2019, with 80 percent having their own mobile phones. This is worrying, as long-time use of smartphones harms children’s eyesight, cervical vertebrae (颈椎) and even the brain.
Many schools have taken actions to limit students’ phone use on campus. Some teachers ask their students to put their phones into a box to store them during class. And some students also agree with the new policy. They think there are more advantages than disadvantages. But some parents think it is unwise to take a “one size fits all” approach. We can’t simply cut students off from the Internet in the digital era. So it’s more important to cultivate (培养) kids’ ability to self-manage and develop good habits of phone usage.
46. Is long-term use of smartphones harmful to children’s brain?
________________________________________________
47. How many Internet users under the age of 18 in 2019 have their own mobile phones according to a 2020 report by the China Internet Network Information Center?

48. If Students need to take smartphones to school they must get ____________ agreement.
49. What’s the disadvantage of using the mobile phones for the primary and middle school students according to the passage?
