This drink has gained popularity recently, as more people are looking for more choices of coffee. It offers a different experience from regular coffee, with many people saying it provides energy without the usual nervous feeling that regular coffee sometimes causes. Some say it can help with focus and even have a calming effect on the mind. These features make it attractive to people seeking a balanced drink. As more people explore healthy choices, mushroom coffee is becoming easier to find, both in shops and online. Its growing popularity suggests that people are open to trying new ways to enjoy their morning coffee, especially if it means feeling less anxious or nervous. The mushrooms used in this drink are carefully dried before being mixed with the coffee beans. This process ensures that the mushrooms mix well, creating a drink with a softer taste. While it’s still not as common as regular coffee, mushroom coffee is catching the attention of those who want a different, possibly healthier start to their day. A Discover the dramatic caves, water activities and hands-on courses that make the island of Zakynthos a family-friendly Greek getaway. From a very young age he has maintained a close relationship with Chinese literature. At first he was an eager reader and later Director of the Mexico City International Poetry Festival, which he has been organizing for a decade. As part of this festival, Cuautle, author of nine collections of poems and the children’s book La Nariz de Manuel (Manuel’s Nose) , has invited two Chinese poets every year for nine years to present their works and give readings in front of a group of Mexicans. Among his favorites are Liu Chang, Yu Jian and Li Cheng'en. The relationship grew even closer in 2013, when his collection of poems The Suicide of the Snail published in Argentina in 2005, was translated into Chinese by Zhang Jin, a teacher of classical Chinese literature. The book contains 18 poems. “I drew a parallel (平行线) between human life and the life of snails, because these animals also have the need to enjoy life. They’re here for a reason, and I turn that reason into poetry. I think my views relate closely to Eastern philosophy,” he explained about the poems. Digging deeper into the topic of language, Cuautle believes that contemporary standard Chinese bears a strong phonetic (语音的) likeness to the language families found in Mesoamerica, a term that refers to a geographical and cultural area which extends from central Mexico down through Central America. Theirs is a kind of brotherhood based on musicality. “If you speak neither standard Chinese nor Purépecha, which is spoken by roughly 175, 000 people in the northwestern region of Michoacán, Mexico, you’ll likely think they’re the same. ” he said. Cuautle went on to say, “If we compare ourselves with the Chinese, we realize there are many similarities. We can draw parallels between formalities, like a respect for your seniors, and even spot some gastronomic (烹任学的) similarities. All these features are attractive to both cultures. ” 24.What can we say about Cuautle? A.He admires Chinese literature deeply. B.He fell in love with poems at a festival. C.He shows little interest in children's literature. D.He finished Manuel’s Nose with two Chinese poets. 25.What do we know about The Suicide of the Snail? A.It is a newly published poem series. B.It is actually against Eastern philosophy. C.It explores human’s negative impact on snails. D.It is a reflection on snails, pleasure and life itself. 26.What does Cuautle think of Purépecha? A.Its users are mostly well-educated. B.It sounds similar to standard Chinese. C.It will soon be adopted in Michoacán. D.Its phonetic system is really confusing. 27.What does the author mainly talk about in the text? A.The growing popularity of poetry around the world. B.The similarities between Mexicans and the Chinese. C.A poet at the Mexico City International Poetry Festival. D.A Mexican wordsmith’s exploration of Chinese culture. 根据第一段第二句“From a very young age he has maintained a close relationship with Chinese literature.(从很小的时候起,他就与中国文学保持着密切的关系)”以及第二段“As part of this festival, Cuautle, author of nine collections of poems and the children’s book La Nariz de Manuel (Manuel’s Nose) , has invited two Chinese poets every year for nine years to present their works and give readings in front of a group of Mexicans.(作为这个节日的一部分,拥有九部诗集和儿童读物《曼努埃尔的鼻子》的作者库奥特勒,九年来每年都邀请两位中国诗人展示他们的作品,并在一群墨西哥人面前朗诵)”可知,库奥特勒从小就与中国文学关系密切,还多次邀请中国诗人。 故选A项。 25. 根据第三段第二句“I drew a parallel (平行线) between human life and the life of snails, because these animals also have the need to enjoy life. They’re here for a reason, and I turn that reason into poetry.(我在人类生活和蜗牛的生活之间画了一条平行线,因为这些动物也有享受生活的需要。它们存在是有原因的,我把这个原因写成了诗歌)”可知,《蜗牛的自杀》是对蜗牛的快乐以及生命本身的一种思考和反映。故选D项。 26.细节理解题。根据第四段第二句“Digging deeper into the topic of language, Cuautle believes that contemporary standard Chinese bears a strong phonetic (语音的) likeness to the language families found in Mesoamerica, a term that refers to a geographical and cultural area which extends from central Mexico down through Central America.(深入研究语言这个话题,库奥特勒认为,当代标准汉语与中美洲的语系在语音上有很强的相似性,中美洲是一个地理和文化区域,从墨西哥中部一直延伸到中美洲。)”以及第四段最后一句“If you speak neither standard Chinese nor Purépecha, which is spoken by roughly 175, 000 people in the northwestern region of Michoacán, Mexico, you'll likely think they’re the same. C The suitcase-sized, self-driving electric vehicles are much greener than many traditional food delivery methods due to low-, or even zero-carbon emissions (排放). In this study, participants with more environmental awareness and knowledge about carbon emissions were more likely to choose the robots as a delivery method. The green influence went away when people perceived the robots as a high-risk choice — worried that their food would be late, cold or otherwise spoiled before it arrived. The findings indicate a way to promote delivery robots. “Much of the marketing focus has been on the functionality and the convenience of these automatic delivery robots, but most importantly, it would enhance these efforts to promote their green aspects as well,” said lead author Jennifer Han, a doctoral student in a university. Han found a strong correlation between high-ranked statements related to carbon emissions and the willingness to use the automatic delivery robots. That connection broke, however, among people who thought using the technology was risky. “When people had a higher perceived risk about using the robots, they ignored the environmental concerns, but people who had less perceived risk were more strongly attached to this decision mechanism,” said Han. “So, it was pretty clear that functional reliability must come first, then environmental benefits.” A sharp increase in online food orders has raised traffic jams and emissions as gas-powered vehicles deliver meals. More food service businesses are turning to automatic delivery robots to do so-called “last mile” delivery. Robots may appeal to businesses simply because they help meet the growing demand for delivery services, but as this study indicates, their ability to limit carbon emissions may also prove a powerful motivator for consumers. Han suggested that companies could highlight the delivery robots’ environmental advantages by displaying a calculation of the emissions of each delivery method. “Reducing this much of carbon footprint through robots would be one cue (暗示) to promote those purchasing behaviors, if consumers have a big interest in environmental issues,” she said. 28.What reduced robots’ environmental appeal? A.Their area unavailability. B.Their high delivery costs. C.People’s doubts about their reliability. D.People’s lack of environmental awareness. 29.What should companies focus on to better promote delivery robots? A.Reducing traffic jams. B.Improving their delivery speed. C.Lowering their production costs. D.Highlighting their reliability and environmental benefits. 30.Why has “last mile” delivery become a concern for food service businesses? A.Consumers prefer a cheaper delivery option. B.Government adopts strict rules on vehicle emissions. C.Delivery robots lose the competitive advantage. D.Traditional vehicle delivery raises a set of issues. 31.What did Han suggest doing to highlight delivery robots’ environment advantages? A.Increasing the number of robots in busy areas. B.Providing real-time data about delivery emissions. C.Offering free trials of robot delivery services. D.Training consumers to operate delivery robots. 根据第一段最后一句“The green influence went away when people perceived the robots as a high-risk choice — worried that their food would be late, cold or otherwise spoiled before it arrived.( 当人们认为机器人是一个高风险的选择时,绿色的影响就消失了——担心他们的食物会迟到、变冷或在到达之前变质)”可知,当人们认为使用送餐机器人是高风险选择,担心食物会迟到、变冷或变质时,机器人的环保吸引力就消失了,也就是人们对其可靠性的怀疑降低了机器人的环保吸引力。故选C项。 29. 根据第四段中“So, it was pretty clear that functional reliability must come first, then environmental benefits.(因此,很明显,功能可靠性必须放在第一位,然后才是环境效益)”以及最后一段中“Han suggested that companies could highlight the delivery robots’ environmental advantages by displaying a calculation of the emissions of each delivery method.(韩建议,公司可以通过显示每种送货方式的排放量计算来突出送货机器人的环境优势)”可知,公司要更好地推广送餐机器人,应首先关注其功能可靠性,然后突出其环保优势。故选D项。 30. 根据第五段中“A sharp increase in online food orders has raised traffic jams and emissions as gas-powered vehicles deliver meals. More food service businesses are turning to automatic delivery robots to do so-called “last mile” delivery.( 网上订餐数量的急剧增长,加剧了交通堵塞和排放问题,因为汽油驱动的车辆送餐。越来越多的食品服务企业开始使用自动送货机器人来完成所谓的“最后一英里”送货)”可推知,由于传统燃油车送餐导致交通堵塞和排放增加等一系列问题,所以“最后一英里”配送成为食品服务企业关注的问题,他们转而使用自动送餐机器人。故选D项。 31.细节理解题。根据最后一段中“Han suggested that companies could highlight the delivery robots’ environmental advantages by displaying a calculation of the emissions of each delivery method.(韩建议,公司可以通过显示每种送货方式的排放量计算来突出送货机器人的环境优势)”可知,韩建议公司通过展示每种配送方式的排放量计算结果,即提供关于配送排放的实时数据,来突出送餐机器人的环保优势。故选B项。 D In the heartland of Japan, where endless green rice fields paint the landscape like a living blanket, a remarkable form of artistry has emerged — rice paddy art, a practice that transforms ordinary farmland into colourful artworks. While children and adults alike are delighted by the surprisingly complex images, one might wonder: what makes the art a reality? The secret lies in the rice shoots (秧苗). As the plants of different varieties grow, each type progressively turns a different colour ranging from shades of green to purple or gold — to bring an artwork to life. These colorful blocks and lines in fields form vivid designs: towering mountains, lovely animals, and even famous characters from movies and cartoons, which are easily recognizable from high places. The tradition of the paddy art can trace back to just three decades ago in Inakadate, a small Japanese village where rice has been grown for over 2,000 years. The locals got the idea from the sight of children’s multi-colored paintings of rice paddies, then transformed the concept and experimented with it in rice planting. Their efforts paid off. The paddy fields became tourist attractions, greatly boosting the local economy. Creating such art is no simple task. It begins with thorough planning: artists draft detailed blueprints, mapping out exactly the location for each rice variety. Farmers and volunteers then work side by side, carefully planting rice shoots in accordance with the plan. Over months, the fields demand constant care — weeding, watering, and protecting the crops. While Inakadate remains the birthplace of rice paddy art, it now extends widely across Japan. The practice is also becoming all the rage in other countries. In Thailand, one man even arranged for a custom piece of art that spelt out a message asking his girlfriend to marry him. Beyond serving as a striking visual display, the paddy art symbolizes harmony between tradition and innovation. It invites families to experience the beauty of farming, supports rural communities through tourism, and proves that even the ancient practice can adapt to modern creativity — all while keeping nature at its core. 32.What is special about the rice shoots? A.Their colours vary with growth. B.They grow better at high places. C.They are created by famous artists. D.Their designs are meant for movies. 33.What can we infer about creating the paddy art from paragraph 4? A.It is cost-effective. B.It is time-saving. C.It is weather-dependent. D.It is cooperation-based. 34.What does the underlined phrase “becoming all the rage” in paragraph 5 mean? A.Gaining popularity. B.Making profits. C.Celebrating traditions. D.Boosting confidence. 35.Which can be a suitable title for the text? A.More Harmonious, More Artistic B.When Rice Grows with Artistry C.How Tourism Affects Rice Growing D.Modern Tech, Modern Farming 【答案】32.A 33.D 34.A 35.B 【导语】本文是一篇说明文,主要讲述了稻田艺术的创作原理、起源与发展、创作过程、社会价值和影响。 32. 根据第二段“The secret lies in the rice shoots (秧苗). As the plants of different varieties grow, each type progressively turns a different colour ranging from shades of green to purple or gold — to bring an artwork to life.(秘诀就在秧苗里。随着不同品种的植物生长,每一种植物逐渐变成不同的颜色,从绿色到紫色或金色,使艺术品栩栩如生)”可知,秧苗颜色随着生长而变化。故选A。 33. 根据第四段“Creating such art is no simple task. It begins with thorough planning: artists draft detailed blueprints, mapping out exactly the location for each rice variety. Farmers and volunteers then work side by side, carefully planting rice shoots in accordance with the plan. Over months, the fields demand constant care — weeding, watering, and protecting the crops.(创造这样的艺术并非易事。首先要进行周密的规划:艺术家们绘制详细的蓝图,准确地绘制出每种水稻的种植位置。然后,农民和志愿者并肩工作,按照计划精心种植水稻苗。几个月来,田地需要不断的照料——除草、浇水和保护庄稼)”可知,稻田艺术创作基于集体协作,故选D。 34.词句猜测题。划线词前一句“While Inakadate remains the birthplace of rice paddy art, it now extends widely across Japan.” 再根据划线短语所在句的“The practice is also becoming all the ragein other countries.” 故选A。 35. 根据第一段“In the heartland of Japan, where endless green rice fields paint the landscape like a living blanket, a remarkable form of artistry has emerged — rice paddy art, a practice that transforms ordinary farmland into colourful artworks.(在日本的中心地带,一望无际的绿色稻田像一张活毯一样把风景描绘成一片,一种非凡的艺术形式出现了——稻田艺术,一种把普通的农田变成色彩缤纷的艺术品的做法)”以及这篇文章主要介绍了传统农业与创新艺术相融合的稻田艺术,故B选项“当水稻种植融入艺术匠心之时”最符合文章标题。 If you’re always trapped in emotion management, you can try to take charge of your emotions with science-backed tricks. 36 For example, simple actions like standing tall or scheduling worry time train your mind to stay balanced daily. ·Try the 10-second action rule. When anger hits, force yourself to whisper — this physically relaxes your throat and tricks your brain’s fear center into calming down within seconds. 37 Studies show holding this pose for 2 minutes cuts stress hormones faster than 10 minutes of meditation. · 38 Treat your mind like a bank account. Schedule 15 daily minutes as “worry time” — write down fears in a notebook and close it when done. Reward small wins with “joy breaks”: dance to one song or eat a square of chocolate. Harvard found this reduces impulsive decisions by 34% because structured limits stop endless overthinking. ·Turn stress into a game. 39 One example at work, create a “calm score card”: +5 points for polite email replies, -3 for snapping. MIT research shows games using this method had 41% lower stress than those using traditional therapy. 40 A.Train your mood with games. B.Plan your feelings like money. 描述了愤怒时小声说话这一应对情绪的方法及其效果,C选项“If anxious, stand like a superhero: legs apart, hands on hips. 又给出了另一种应对焦虑情绪的身体姿势的方法,与上文在列举应对情绪的方法上是并列关系,并且“stand like a superhero” 与下文 “Studies show holding this pose for 2 minutes cuts stress hormones faster than 10 minutes of meditation. 38.根据下文“Treat your mind like a bank account. Schedule 15 daily minutes as “worry time” —write down fears in a notebook and close it when done. Reward small wins with “joy breaks”: dance to one song or eat a square of chocolate. Harvard found this reduces impulsive decisions by 34% because structured limits stop endless overthinking.(把你的大脑当作一个银行账户。 39.上文“Turn stress into a game. 明确提出了将压力转化为游戏的观点,结合下文的“One example at work, create a “calm score card”: +5 points for polite email replies, -3 for snapping.(一个工作中的例子是创建一张‘冷静评分卡’:礼貌回复邮件得+5分,发脾气扣-3分)”可知,此处详细说明了将压力转化为游戏的具体操作方式,由此可推断,空格处需要补充这一方法的心理学原理或核心思想,D选项“Playfulness tricks your brain into seeing challenges as fun puzzles. 40.上文“MIT research shows games using this method had 41% lower stress than those using traditional therapy.(麻省理工学院的研究表明,使用这种方法的游戏比传统疗法的压力降低了41%)”提到了通过游戏化方法降低压力的效果,结合空格处于段尾的特点,空格处需要补充进一步的结果或总结,E选项“Next time traffic angers you, imagine drivers are video game characters.(下次交通让你生气时,想象司机是电子游戏角色)”提供了一个具体的场景应用,延续了将压力转化为游戏的主题,符合逻辑。 My dad was never much of a talker. A few months before I began college, my parents surprised me with the one thing every young adult desires: a brand new laptop. That summer, I was glued to the screen, living in a digital world. I spent hours on social media, chatting with friends, and ignoring the real one around me. I was more concerned with the virtual interactions than the actual people and places around me. Being online was more important than anything else. So, when I heard my dad’s plan for our family vacation that year, I was less than thrilled. “This year,” he announced, “we’re going to try something different. We’re going to a farm.” A farm wasn’t my ideal vacation, but it was still a break from the routine. I went through the packing up and planning, barely listening to the instructions. My mind was elsewhere, on the Internet, where my conversations never stopped. I was so absorbed in my digital world that the first time I really paid attention to the real world was when we get to our destination – a remote farm. I stared out the window to see the breathtaking views outside. The air coming through the open windows was warm and carried the fresh smell of the forest. But the view wasn’t what caught my attention. The moment I got off the car, I rushed into the farmhouse. The real shock came when I tried to check my e-mail and found that I had no Internet connection. I was standing there with a long face when I heard the laughter of three children. So, I went up to them and asked, “Is the Internet available here?” “We have no Wi-Fi here.” a boy, named Ethan, said softly. And then he told me they were sons of the farm owner. I looked at him, too depressed to say anything. My laptop would be completely useless. I would live in the wilderness for a week with no way to connect to the online world. I was close to tears, afraid of the boredom I had to tolerate in the coming days. Early next morning, Ethan and his brothers came to invite me to hang out with them. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Surprisingly, I never thought of my laptop that week. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】Early next morning, Ethan and his brothers came to invite me to hang out with them. At first, I hesitated, still upset about the lack of the Internet. But their eager faces were hard to resist, so I reluctantly went along. Ethan led us to the hen house, and we spent a while collecting eggs, with him teaching me the gentle way to handle the hens. Later, we went to the meadow, where we chased colorful butterflies and lay on the soft grass, staring at the clouds. Despite my initial reluctance, I gradually found myself getting into the activities, drawn by their simple joys. Surprisingly, I never thought of my laptop that week. Each day was filled with new adventures. We helped the farmhands with various tasks like milking cows and mending fences. In the evenings, we sat around a bonfire, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories. The warm company, the fresh air, and the beauty of nature made me realize how much I had been missing in my virtual world. By the time it was time to leave, I was filled with gratitude for this off-grid experience, knowing that real-life connections and the wonders of nature far surpassed the pleasure of the digital world. 词汇激活 行为类 ①抗拒:resist/show resistance ②参与:get into/participate in/be involved in ③意识到:realize/be aware of/recognize 情绪类 ①喜悦:joy/fun/pleasure ②感激:gratitude/appreciation/feel grateful 【点睛】[高分句型1] Later, we went to the meadow, where we chased colorful butterflies and lay on the soft grass, staring at the clouds.(运用了where引导的非限制性定语从句和现在分词作状语) [高分句型2] In the evenings, we sat around a bonfire, roasting marshmallows and sharing stories.(运用了现在分词作伴随状语) 试卷第1页,共3页 试卷第1页,共3页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $$听力考试正式开始。Can you please give this note to shake up, to pass on to his mom? A.a travel website B.a college textbook C.a lifestyle column D.an academic journal B For Mexican poet Manuel Cuautle who was born in 1971, Chinese poetry possesses two qualities that make it stand out: naturalness and simplicity. D In the heartland of Japan, where endless green rice fields paint the landscape like a living blanket, a remarkable form of artistry has emerged — rice paddy art, a practice that transforms ordinary farmland into colourful artworks. A.More Harmonious, More Artistic B.When Rice Grows with Artistry C.How Tourism Affects Rice Growing D.Modern Tech, Modern Farming If you’re always trapped in emotion management, you can try to take charge of your emotions with science-backed tricks. A.a travel website B.a college textbook C.a lifestyle column D.an academic journal B For Mexican poet Manuel Cuautle who was born in 1971, Chinese poetry possesses two qualities that make it stand out: naturalness and simplicity. D In the heartland of Japan, where endless green rice fields paint the landscape like a living blanket, a remarkable form of artistry has emerged — rice paddy art, a practice that transforms ordinary farmland into colourful artworks. A.More Harmonious, More Artistic B.When Rice Grows with Artistry C.How Tourism Affects Rice Growing D.Modern Tech, Modern Farming If you’re always trapped in emotion management, you can try to take charge of your emotions with science-backed tricks. C.If anxious, stand like a superhero: legs apart, hands on hips. D.Playfulness tricks your brain into seeing challenges as fun puzzles. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 试卷第1页,共3页 试卷第1页,共3页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $$
