①The MBTI,the most popular personality test in the world, shows that there are sixteen kinds of people in the world, but each type only has two choices.Everyone is either extroverted(外向) or introverted(内向),sensing(感觉) or intuitive(直觉),thinking or feeling, judging(判断) or perceiving(察觉).
②Nowadays,more than two million people take it every year.It is used in 26 countries to test workers, students, and soldiers, and used by Fortune 500 companies and universities.Among more than two thousand personality tests, the MBTI is No.1.
③Because of its success, many people started to dig out the story of how the MBTI came out,and Merve Emre wrote it in his book The Personality Brokers.
④The MBTI was invented by Katharine Briggs and Isabel Myers who were a mother-and-daughter team.In fact, they kept on doing this for almost 80 years. They stayed up late and once were laughed by others. When the mother died, her daughter didn't give up.She spent the rest of her life researching on different kinds of people, trying to find a way to make work more efficient and people less unhappy.Until now, personality testing has become a two-billion-dollar industry.
⑤The idea of the MBTI comes from real situations in a family. For example, one child is a good planner while the other does not have any plans. One child has a million friends but the other is a loner. There is no one better than the other.Even children in one family can differ in many ways.
⑥The key to the MBTI's success is from Katharine's opinion. She believes that you may waste a lot of energy and have a lot of pain if you consider the differences as troubles. Therefore, this MBTI is meant to show the personality is what you have been born with, and each type of personality is as “normal” as the others.
⑦In this case, the MBTI is different from other tests. That is why it is so widely used today.People who take part in this test feel relaxed after finding out their type.It helps them to deal with their work or marriage, making them be themselves.

About 41.1 percent of Chinese men were overweight or obese(肥胖的) compared with 27.7 percent of Chinese women, according to a study published in a well-known medical journal.
Chinese Body Mass Index(BMI体质指数) system describes overweight as BMI from 24 to 27.9 kg/m2 and obesity as BMI at or above 28 kg/m2.You can know your BMI with the following formula.
BIM=
BMI=
Researchers studied data from about 15.8 million people across about 250 cities in China.According to Chinese BMI standard,34.8 percent of the studied population was overweight and 14.1 percent was obese. These people were aged 18 or above.
There are several reasons why men are more likely to be obese. As fathers, husbands, and brothers, men usually have to stand long-term excessive stress and negative feelings which can make the body produce more stress hormones(荷尔蒙).Such hormones play a role in increasing fat collecting.
In order to reduce stress, men often tend to drink alcohol, eat an unbalanced diet, and stay up late into the night. Some other habits, like sitting for too long without moving at work and sleeping irregularly(不规律地) are also closely related to obesity. All above can add to the risk of becoming obese.
By region(地区),the percentage of overweight and obesity in the north was generally higher than that in the south, with Inner Mongolia(37.1 percent), Shandong(37.11 percent),and Hebei(36.6 percent) being the top three.
People in higher BMI groups tend to have a greater number of complications(并发症).The early examination and intervention are important ways to prevent obesity-related complications.
