They return as butterflies after their death. Another one, Twelve Roles, which will be presented in the summer, largely gets its idea from an American film 12 Angry Men. Yueju opera, which developed around 1906 in Shengzhou, Zhejiang Province, is one of China’s most famous operas. In the old days, people loved it because of its styles of singing and melodies (旋律). Storytelling has caught the human imagination for thousands of years. People everywhere have told stories to relax, to teach, to remember, and just to pass the time. People started telling stories long before writing was invented. 37 But people all over the world still tell one another stories out loud. A person who can tell a good story nearly always finds listeners.
Before people developed writing, storytelling was the most important way to pass along information. Anything a culture wanted to protect — its beliefs, its history, and its traditions — had to be told out loud. Each generation would tell the culture s stories to the next. 38 Knowledge passed on in this method is called the spoken tradition. Even cultures that know how to write still pass along some information in this way.
39 In other cultures only special storytellers were trusted to do this important job. A culture’s best storytellers had good memories. They could also make the stories very interesting, so people would listen and remember them. Sometimes people would sing the stories or tell them in the form of poems. Songs and poems can both make stories easier to remember.
However, stories told aloud change over time as different people tell them. A storyteller might change a story in order to make it better. Or a teller may simply not remember all the details of a story. Unlike written stories, the spoken tradition is not created by any one person.
40 Sometimes the stories are collected and written down long after they have been created.
A.In this way the stories were passed along.
B.In some cultures everyone would pass along the stories.
C.Soon storytelling became very popular all over the world.
D.Instead, a whole culture helps shape the changing stories in history.
E.The spoken tradition is created by good storytellers rather than listeners.
F.Today stories are also written down in books and acted out in movies, TV shows, and plays.

Eating in space
If you go camping for more than a week with some friends, you will make sure you have plenty of foods and keep them properly. At the end of your camping trip, you would deal with your rubbish properly before returning home.
Astronauts almost do the same thing when they go to space. Some foods can be eaten in their natural forms, such as chocolate cakes and fruits. Other foods require adding water, such as cheese. Of course, an over is provided at the space station to heat the food. But there are no fridges, so space food must be kept properly.
Sleeping in space
After a long day at work, nothing is better than a good night’s sleep! Just like on the earth, astronauts in space get up and go to bed at a certain time. When going to sleep, they have to attach themselves, so they don’t float (漂浮) around or hit their bodies against something. They usually use sleeping bags.
Doing sports in space
Exercise is an important part of every astronaut’s daily life to prevent muscle loss. Usually, astronauts exercise two hours every day. Lifting 200 pounds on the earth may be a lot of work. But lifting the same object in space would be much easier. That means the things for exercise need to be specially designed, so astronauts can receive the exercise needed.
Living in space is not just all work and no play. Astronauts like to look out of the window and play with their food for fun.
41.How many aspects does the author introduce the astronauts’ daily life?
42.What do the astronauts use to heat food at the space station?
43.Why do the astronauts exercise in their daily life?
44.Would you like to go on a space trip if you have a chance? Why or why not? (Write 30 words or more)
