With ships ranging from 2,713 to 4,000 passengers, voyages last from 2 to 15 nights, Disney’s entertainment options include Mickey’s Party and pirate-themed dinners, appealing to passengers of all ages. Whether you are seeking luxury affordability, or a blend of entertainment and relaxation, there is a cruise line that fits the bill.(从浪漫的度假到家庭冒险,游轮的世界为不同的偏好和年龄群体提供了各种各样的体验。 故选A项。 B My childhood was a painted picture of a sunny sky and rolling green fields stretching to the horizon. It tasted of sharp berries and smelt of sour grapes. My family lived in a cabin in the countryside, but I lived in my mother’s arms. They were so delicate but strong, and her red hair falling around me was like a curtain that separated me from the world. Childhood was simple. The borders of my village were the furthest my troubles went and monsters only lived in the pages of books. Every day was a waking dream of running races and muddy knees. My village was archaic, dying cabins housing dying farmers with dying traditions. There weren’t many children but me and the other boys; boys of butchers and sellers formed our own group. They called us wild. I suppose we were. Trees and mountains formed our playgrounds and fights broke out as easily as sudden laughter. Liberated (解放) from the restrictions of society, we would bound into the woods, deeper and deeper until we found a lake which, with a wild yell, we would jump into all at once. My most vivid memories from boyhood center around that lake. Water shone brightly and the sounds of our screams broke into the outery from birds. The shock of cold water against sweating skin would wake every nerve in my body and my bare feet would hit the sinking muddy bottom. As we submerged (浸没), time would stop, movements slowing as bubbles rose around us. I was drowning. I was living. I was living. I was drowning. For timelessness or a second (both felt the same), we would pause, curl up, and then be forced back out into breathing air. We should have known that it wouldn’t last forever. Yet, even under the best circumstances, there’s something so tragic about growing up: your perspective on the people and life around you changes; you always struggle to reach a mirror, only to find yourself tall enough to see your reflection one day and find a different person staring back out at you. 4. Why does the author describe his mother’s red hair as “a curtain that separated me from the world”? A. To show her artistic personality. B. To emphasize her protective presence. C To reveal his fear of social interactions. D. To illustrate his fascination with colors. 5. What does the underlined word “archaic” in paragraph 2 most probably mean? A. Time-honored. B. Old-fashioned. C. Mountain-ringed. D. Self-employed. 6. What does the lake symbolize in the author’s boyhood memories? A. A dangerous pause in life. B. A mirror reflecting adulthood. C. A prison of social restrictions. D. A state of immersion in the present. 7. What message does the author convey in the last paragraph? A Struggle and challenge make a man grow up. B. Childhood joy is completely erased by growth C. Growth often brings unavoidable self-reinvention. D. The regret of growth is that people can’t find a mirror. B 5. B 6. D 7. 根据第一段“They were so delicate but strong, and her red hair falling around me was like a curtain that separated me from the world.(她的头发娇嫩而有力,她的红头发披在我的周围,就像一扇帘子,把我与世界隔开)”可知,妈妈的头发披在作者周围,就像一扇帘子,把作者与世界隔开,此处是在强调妈妈对作者的保护,故选B。 根据第四段中“As we submerged (浸没), time would stop, movements slowing as bubbles rose around us.(当我们潜入水中时,时间会停止,随着我们周围的气泡上升,运动速度会减慢)”和第五段中“For timelessness or a second (both felt the same), we would pause, curl up, and then be forced back out into breathing air.(在永恒或一秒钟的时间里(两者的感觉都一样),我们会停下来,蜷缩起来,然后被迫出去呼吸空气)”可知,在湖泊中,他们完全沉浸在那一刻,时间似乎停止了,有一种完全活在当下的感觉,由此推知那个湖在作者的童年记忆里象征着沉浸在当下的状态。 根据最后一段中“We should have known that it wouldn’t last forever. Yet, even under the best circumstances, there’s something so tragic about growing up: your perspective on the people and life around you changes; you always struggle to reach a mirror, only to find yourself tall enough to see your reflection one day and find a different person staring back out at you.(我们早该知道它不会永远持续下去。 C。 C Online literature is believed to have first gained a significant foothold in the Chinese mainland. Started domestically in the 1990s, Chinese online literature has been booming globally over the past two decades. Whether it be online releases or physical book publications, works in Mandarin only to be voluntarily translated by enthusiasts are a growing phenomenon. The establishment of online reading platforms and the setup of overseas localization and development ecosystems have led to Chinese online literature continuously expanding its global influence. It is now described as one of the world’s four major cultural phenomena, along with US Hollywood movies, Japanese animation and South Korean TV dramas. Featuring magnificent imagination, fascinating plots and compelling (扣人心弦) stories, it is drawing a growing mass of readers from all over the world. According to a report released by the China. Writers Association last April, Chinese online literature has captivated (迷住) nearly 200 million active overseas users, 80 percent of whom are Generation Z readers — those born between the mid-1990s and early 2010s-from most countries and regions worldwide. Another report released by the China Audio-Video and Digital Publishing Association in December revealed that in 2023, China’s online literature industry earned 4.35 billion yuan ($597 million) from international markets, up 7 percent year-on-year. “The charm of Chinese online literature is boundless. It goes beyond the limitations of traditional literature, breaking cultural barriers to resonate (共鸣) with readers around the world. As someone from faraway Italy, I’ve found deep emotional connection and inspiration in these works. Themes like the pursuit of dreams and the fight for justice are universal, uniting people across cultures,” said Carlo Maria Rossi, a stage designer and creative director from Rome and a big fan of the popular Chinese web novel Lord of Mysteries. Currently, Chinese online literature is crossing more boundaries and exploring a new path of going global. With a focus on “global co-creation on intellectual property”, online literature writers from different nations and regions are joining hands in developing their web novel IPs, creating a new wave of the globalization of literature while promoting cultural understanding and exchanges. 8. Which contributes to the global expansion of Chinese online literature? A. The rapid spread of Mandarin. B. The promotion of other cultural forms. C. The long history of traditional literature. D. The building of online reading platforms. 9. What can we learn from Paragraph 3? A. The high cost of developing Chinese online literature overseas. B. The limited growth potential of Chinese online literature in the future. C. The dominance of Chinese online literature in the international market. D. The increasing popularity and economic value of Chinese online literature. 10. What can be inferred from Carlo Maria Rossi’s words? A. Lord of Mysteries is well-received in Italy. B. People can find more emotional links in Italian literature. C. Chinese online literature appeals to readers from other cultures. D. Italian literature has the same themes as Chinese online literature. 11. What does the passage mainly talk about? A. Chinese literature is popular with Generation Z readers. B. How Chinese literature influences other cultural phenomena. C. Chinese online literature rises from local origins to global waves. D. Why Chinese online literature promotes people’s cultural exchanges. D 9. D 10. C 11. 根据第二段“The establishment of online reading platforms and the setup of overseas localization and development ecosystems have led to Chinese online literature continuously expanding its global influence.(网络阅读平台的建立和海外本土化发展生态系统的构建,使得中国网络文学的全球影响力不断扩大)”可知,网络阅读平台建设促成了中国网络文学的全球扩张。 根据第三段“Featuring magnificent imagination, fascinating plots and compelling (扣人心弦) stories, it is drawing a growing mass of readers from all over the world. According to a report released by the China, Writers Association last April, Chinese online literature has captivated (迷住) nearly 200 million active overseas users, 80 percent of whom are Generation Z readers — those born between the mid-1990s and early 2010s-from most countries and regions worldwide. Another report released by the China Audio-Video and Digital Publishing Association in December revealed that in 2023, China’s online literature industry earned 4.35 billion yuan ($597 million) from international markets, up 7 percent year-on-year.(它以宏伟的想象、引人入胜的情节和引人入胜的故事吸引着越来越多的来自世界各地的读者。 根据倒数第二段“The charm of Chinese online literature is boundless. It goes beyond the limitations of traditional literature, breaking cultural barriers to resonate (共鸣) with readers around the world. As someone from faraway Italy, I’ve found deep emotional connection and inspiration in these works. Themes like the pursuit of dreams and the fight for justice are universal, uniting people across cultures(中国网络文学的魅力是无穷的。 根据第一段“Online literature is believed to have first gained a significant foothold in the Chinese mainland. Started domestically in the 1990s, Chinese online literature has been booming globally over the past two decades. Whether it be online releases or physical book publications, works in Mandarin only to be voluntarily translated by enthusiasts are a growing phenomenon.(网络文学被认为首先在中国大陆获得了重要的立足点。 C。 D Not that long ago asking for an alcohol-free beer in a British pub made you seem weird. Less so now. Alcohol consumption (饮用) is falling among young, wealthy and health-conscious consumers. Better brewing (酿制) techniques have introduced tastier non-alcoholic choices. Sales of alcohol-free beer have increased by 26% in the past year. Even so, the overall market is still tiny. Non-alcoholic beverages make up a sliver (少量) of Britain’s alcoholic drink market, at just 3%. That is comparable to the share in France and America but far behind that in Germany (16%) or Spain (11%). Sales growth of alcohol-free drinks would need to exceed 40% each year to come close to raising their market share above 10% by 2030. Wider availability and better products will naturally help the market to grow. But so would fixing a specific problem in the British market. According to standards set by the Department of Health and Social Care, drinks must contain less than 0.05% alcohol by volume (aby) to be considered alcohol-free. That is less than the alcohol content of burger rolls or ripe bananas. It is also much less than incomparable markets. The 0.5% aby beers made by Big Drop, a British craft brewer, are officially deemed (认为) non-alcoholic in America, Australia and Germany but not at home. This strict standard has two consequences. One is for competition. Obeying the guidance is hard for smaller brands in particular; producing drinks at 0.05% aby or less requires expensive equipment to extract (提取) the alcohol. Some don’t even bother trying. Nearly one-third of the drinks sold and labeled (标明) as alcohol-free in Britain ignore the official guidance. That leads to the second consequence: confusion. More than half of respondents in a poll (民意调查) by Opinium, a research firm, said there was a lack of clarity over the suitability of non-alcoholic products for pregnant women, drivers and people who don’t drink for religious reasons. The government, keen to give more options to people who drink to excess (过量), has launched a consultation (磋商) on updating its rules so that drinks with 0.5% aby can legally reach the alcohol-free standard. A labeling change is not going to make the market go crazy but it would bring Britain into line with other countries. And it might make it even easier to order something non-alcoholic next time you are at the bar. 12. Why are the figures mentioned in Paragraph 2? A. To prove a point. B. To attract the readers. C. To warm people. D. To make a proposal. 13. What can we learn about the non-alcoholic drink market in Britain? A. The overall non-alcoholic drink market is bigger than before. B. The non-alcoholic drink market share will reach 10% by 2030. C. The market growth merely depends on wider availability and better products. D. Alcohol-free drinks have a much bigger market share in France than in Britain 14. What does the underlined “That” in Paragraph 4 refer to? A. Lacking clarity over the suitability for different people B. Some brands’ disregarding the British official guidance. C. Considering the drink less than 0.05% aby to be alcohol-free D. Small brands’ buying the expensive equipment to extract the alcohol 15. What benefit will the consultation launched by the government bring? A. It will give alcoholic drinks legal status. B. It will cause the market to grow dramatically. C. It will help Britain keep pace with other countries. D. It will make people choose non-alcoholic beverages. A 13. A 14. B 15. 根据第二段“Even so, the overall market is still tiny. Non-alcoholic beverages make up a sliver (少量) of Britain’s alcoholic drink market, at just 3%. That is comparable to the share in France and America but far behind that in Germany (16%) or Spain (11%). Sales growth of alcohol-free drinks would need to exceed 40% each year to come close to raising their market share above 10% by 2030.(即便如此,整个市场仍然很小。 故选A。 根据第一段“Not that long ago asking for an alcohol-free beer in a British pub made you seem weird. 现在情况有所好转)”以及“Sales of alcohol-free beer have increased by 26% in the past year.(去年,无酒精啤酒的销量增长了26%)”可知,英国的非酒精饮料市场整体比以前更大了。故选A。 根据划线词上文“Obeying the guidance is hard for smaller brands in particular; producing drinks at 0.05% aby or less requires expensive equipment to extract (提取) the alcohol. Some don’t even bother trying. Nearly one-third of the drinks sold and labeled (标明) as alcohol-free in Britain ignore the official guidance.(对于小品牌来说,遵守指导尤其困难;生产0.05%或更低的饮料需要昂贵的设备来提取酒精。 根据最后一段“A labeling change is not going to make the market go crazy but it would bring Britain into line with other countries.(标签的改变不会使市场疯狂,但它会使英国与其他国家保持一致)”可知,政府发起的咨询将使英国与其他国家保持同步。 A panel of nutrition experts released their 2025 dietary guidelines. These guidelines will inform and shape the food programs and policy of the U. S. government. Overall, the recommendations for the guidelines sound familiar. ___16___ They should also eat less red meat and processed meats, as well as vegetables like potatoes. This panel worked on the guidelines for almost two years. It was the first to consider dietary needs based on financial situation, race and culture. Fatima, an obesity expert, said that considering these new elements will help make sure that the guidance reflects and includes various population groups. ___17___ Several of them showed links between ultra-processed foods and being overweight or obesity. But the nutrition experts said the evidence was too limited to make recommendations. The panel also didn’t change recommendations about alcohol. The current guidelines are two drinks or less a day for men and one for women. The nutrition panel described a healthy diet for people beginning at two years old. ___18___ The diets of most Americans don’t meet the current guidelines. More than half of American adults have one or more diet-related health condition. ___19___ The report also notes that nutrition-related long-term health conditions will continue to threaten health throughout their life. The dietary guidelines are updated every five years. ___20___ Related government officials will then hold a public meeting to discuss the recommendations before they are finally released. All this makes it possible for Americans to attach importance to the dietary guidelines. A. The panel considered more than 40 studies. B. For a healthy diet, people should eat more beans. C. The last time the guidance was updated was in 2020. D. The public has 60 days to comment on the guidance. E. 18 million individuals have insecure sources of food. F. It is high in vegetables, fruits, nuts, whole grains and fish. G. We should also note that there’s something missing in the guideline. B 17. A 18. F 19. E 20. 【16题详解】 根据上文“A panel of nutrition experts released their 2025 dietary guidelines. These guidelines will inform and shape the food programs and policy of the U. S. government. Overall, the recommendations for the guidelines sound familiar.(一个营养专家小组发布了2025年膳食指南。 总的来说,指南的建议听起来很熟悉)”以及下文“They should also eat less red meat and processed meats, as well as vegetables like potatoes.(他们还应该少吃红肉和加工肉类,以及土豆等蔬菜)”可知,本句主要具体说明指南关于健康饮食的建议,B选项中people对应后文代词“They”。 【17题详解】 根据下文“Several of them showed links between ultra-processed foods and being overweight or obesity. But the nutrition experts said the evidence was too limited to make recommendations. The panel also didn’t change recommendations about alcohol. The current guidelines are two drinks or less a day for men and one for women. The nutrition panel described a healthy diet for people beginning at two years old.(其中几项研究表明,超加工食品与超重或肥胖之间存在联系。 【19题详解】 根据上文“The diets of most Americans don’t meet the current guidelines. More than half of American adults have one or more diet-related health condition.(大多数美国人的饮食不符合目前的指导方针。 【20题详解】 根据下文“Related government officials will then hold a public meeting to discuss the recommendations before they are finally released. All this makes it possible for Americans to attach importance to the dietary guidelines.(相关政府官员将举行公开会议,讨论最终公布的建议。 On Christmas Eve, Kane and Ramey, two highway maintenance workers with the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), ___21___ a torn trash bag on the shoulder of U. Jackson walked toward it with his dog, and found it to be a weathered balloon entangled (缠住) in the dry grass, with a string attached to something. It was a note. “Dayami,” it read on one side, in a child’s writing. A hand-drawn bow accompanied the word. Jackson flipped the paper over. It was a numbered list, all in Spanish. Although his Spanish wasn’t very good, he could see it was a Christmas list. Jackson was charmed. He guessed that a child might have tried to send Santa Claus a Christmas wish list by balloon, something he used to do himself when he was a kid. Nobody had ever returned the letters Jackson had sent aloft (空中), but he still hoped he could find the girl who had sent this one. It would be difficult, but Jackson had a few clues (线索). About 20 miles to the southwest, just across the border, was the city of Nogales, Mexico, with a population of about a quarter million. “Based on the prevailing (盛行的) wind, that’s surely where it came from,” he thought. Jackson brought the note home to his wife, who is fluent in Spanish and helped him translate the list. They determined that Dayami, probably a girl, had asked for a doll, a dollhouse, clothes, and art supplies, among other things. Jackson then posted about it on social media, attaching photos, hoping some of his friends in Nogales might know the girl’s family. A few days passed with no leads; Jackson worried that time was running out before Christmas. On December 19, 2018, he decided to send a private message to Radio XENY, an AM radio station based in Nogales. To his surprise, someone from the station called him back right away. Jackson’s wife helped explain the situation on the phone, and got the promise that Radio XENY would air the story, and arrange a meeting between them and Dayami’s family, as soon as Dayami was found. Para 1: The very next morning, they got the news: an eight-year-old girl named Dayami had been found in Nogales. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Para 2: After a 50-minute drive, they arrived at the Radio XENY offices with the many presents. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 【答案】范文 The very next morning, they got the news: an eight-year-old girl named Dayami had been found in Nogales. She was indeed the sender of the balloon, and her family had been eagerly awaiting her Christmas list to be fulfilled. Jackson was overjoyed at the good news and immediately started preparing the presents on the list. He and his wife carefully selected a beautiful doll, a charming dollhouse, stylish clothes, and various art supplies, making sure every item matched Dayami’s wishes. They packed everything neatly, filled with anticipation for the upcoming meeting. After a 50-minute drive, they arrived at the Radio XENY offices with the many presents. Dayami and her family were already there, waiting eagerly. When Dayami saw Jackson and the presents, her eyes lit up with excitement. She ran over and hugged Jackson tightly, thanking him over and over. Jackson handed her the presents one by one, and she opened them with great joy, showing off each new item to her family. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and happiness. Jackson felt a deep sense of satisfaction, knowing that he had made a little girl’s Christmas dream come true. From that day on, Jackson and Dayami formed a special bond, and they kept in touch, sharing stories and laughter. 词汇激活 行为类 ①保持联系:keep in touch/stay in touch ②看见:see/spot ③充满:be filled with/be full of 情绪类 ①高兴:overjoyed/happy ②期待:anticipation/expectation 【点睛】[高分句型1] Jackson felt a deep sense of satisfaction, knowing that he had made a little girl’s Christmas dream come true. B My childhood was a painted picture of a sunny sky and rolling green fields stretching to the horizon. 4. C Online literature is believed to have first gained a significant foothold in the Chinese mainland. D Not that long ago asking for an alcohol-free beer in a British pub made you seem weird. A panel of nutrition experts released their 2025 dietary guidelines. Jackson then posted about it on social media attaching photos, hoping some of his friends in Nogales might know the girl’s family. Para 1: The very next morning they got the news: an eight-year-old girl named Dayami had been found in Nogales. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Para 2: After a 50-minute drive, they arrived at the Radio XENY offices with the many presents. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 第1页/共1页 学科网(北京)股份有限公司 $$
