1. 细节理解题
细节理解题在阅读理解中所占比重较大,提问的是篇章中的具体信息,主要在A篇、B篇设题,可以使用以下3个技巧破解。
1.直接定位法(题干关键词与原文表述相近)
A. funny B. helpful C. noisy D. difficult
解题步骤:
Step 1 画出题干关键词。
Step 2 回文定位。
Step 3 对比选项。

二.词义猜测题
词义猜测题是中考必考题,常在C篇或D篇之中考查1题。需要考生理解画线生词所在
段落中的主题语境,以及研读画线生词的上下句,从而选出最贴近作者意图的英文释义。
该题型常见的设问方式和解题方法如下所示:
The underlined word “...” means __________.
The word “...” in paragraph 3 most probably means __________.
The underlined word/sentence “...” in Paragraph 5 means __________.
What’s the meaning of the underlined word?
1.代词指向法
问:The word “intuition” in Paragraph 5 probably means__________.
A. an ability to understand B. an interesting experience
C. a chance to win D. a fair decision
解题步骤:
Step 1 定位画线生词位置。
Step 2 若上下文有与画线词相关的代词,如it、such、this、that、the one等,则找到代词指
代内容来解释画线词。
Step 3 找到与对应原文意思相符的选项。
画线词前面有such(这样的),说明前文出现过画线词所表示的具体内容,即“能看见并
判断病人的状况”,A选项“理解能力”与之意思相符。
2.转折对比法
The transmission of culture seems to be directly related to what’s in our blood. Just as snails carry their shell, so do we bring along our culture. However, culture is also passed on among people of the same times or among people belonging to different populations. We can learn how to make jiaozi even if we were born to Russian parents in Paris just as we can learn how to speak English even if none of our family or friends speaks that
language.
问:The word “transmission” in Paragraph 4 probably means “ __________ ”.
A. system B. spread C. start D. spirit
解题步骤:
Step 1 定位画线生词位置。
Step 2 若上下文有表示对比、转折的词,如however、but、yet、while(然而)、rather than(而不是)、instead of、in fact等,则通过这些词找到与画线词对应的内容,推测画线词词义。
Step 3 找到与对应原文意思相符的选项。
However后面说的是“文化传承的另一种方式”,可以推测前面说的也是“文化传播的方式”,画线词对应passed on,意为“传递”,B选项“流传”与之意思相符。
3.因果关系法
Look into what the company tells us about their product. It’s easy to say that a product is “green” or “all natural”, but the words may be too good to be true. So,much of the information about a product should be taken with a grain of salt. After all, companies try to make us believe that their products are environmentally responsible.
问:The words “be taken with a grain of salt” in Paragraph 5 probably mean“__________”.
A. be easily understood B. not be completely believed
C. be widely spread D. not be quickly forgotten
解题步骤:
Step 1 定位画线生词位置。
Step 2 若上下文中有表示因果关系的词,如since、as、because、for、so、thus、as a result、for this reason、so that、so...that等,则找出画线生词对应的原因/结果。
Step 3 找到与对应原因/结果意思相近的选项。
画线生词对应的原因是前一句,该句指出“对这些产品的宣传可能好得令人难以置信”,由此可判断其结果是人们不应该完全相信产品信息,B选项正确。
4.解释说明法
related to space technology such as satellite communications, global positioning system(GPS)and weather forecasting. The development of satellite technology, for instance, makes telecommunications possible, connecting people from different parts of the world through satellite television, phones, radio and Internet access.
问:The words “triggered advances” in Paragraph 2 probably mean “__________” .
A. led to great progress B. slowed down the speed

Step 2 若画线生词后有定语从句、同位语、that is to say或破折号、冒号、引号等标点符号引出的内容,则这些内容是对画线生词的解释说明。
Step 3 找出符合原文对画线生词的解释说明的选项。which引导的定语从句对画线的动宾短语所在的主句进行补充说明,意为“使人类受益并提高在地球上的生活质量”,A选项“带来巨大进步”与之同义。同时,这一整段都是在介绍宇宙探索带来的进步。
5.举例说明法
It’s okay to help others, but being an echoist can sometimes lose your own interests. Echoists always try their best to prioritize others. For example echoists might choose to make sure someone else is happy instead of caring about their own needs. Remember as long as it doesn’t harm the collective good, you are the most important person in your life, and it’s fair for your needs to come first sometimes.
问:The word “prioritize” in Paragraph 5 probably means __________.
A.look down upon B. give first place to
C.catch up with D. depend on
解题步骤:
Step 1 定位画线生词位置。
Step 2 判断画线生词前后是否有for example、like、such as、as this example suggests或者破折号后举的例子。
Step 3 找出与文中所举的例子相符合的选项。
上文例子指出“回声者可能会选择确保别人快乐,而不是关心自己的需求”,即把他人的需求放前面,因此B选项正确。

3.(2025·天津河北·一模)I have learned English since I was 10 years old. Everything I was taught at school was about tenses (时态) and other complex grammar. Every day, my teacher asked us to copy new words 10 times. I got fed up with memorizing vocabulary and grammar rules. Gradually, learning English became something I disliked.
When I was in 10th grade, my parents bought me a computer. From then on, it became my best helper. I could learn whatever I wanted. I began to listen to music and watch TV shows. When she arrived in Beijing from Germany at the age of 20, she found skateboarding to be her compass (指南针) in exploring this city. Her first impression of Beijing was its blend (融合) of ancient buildings and modern architecture (建筑), which provided an inclusive mix of skate spots. Each spot offered its own set of challenges and opportunities for creative expression.
The skateboarding community in Beijing had also taken her by surprise. She remembered the first time going out on a street skating session with her Canadian friend. She was worried at first, fearing that people might be a bit reserved around her—a foreigner. Yet, her worries turned out to be unnecessary. The skaters here were as welcome and open-minded as any skaters she had met in Europe. In her opinion, it was this shared love for skateboarding that tightly put this community together all over the world.
Besides, even those outside the skateboarding community showed curiosity and love for the sport. Passers-by often stopped to watch them skate, with some even daring to try it out. This openness and eagerness for exploration left a deep impression on her, and it provided a wonderful opportunity for cultural exchanges and learning from each other.

In 1922, Spanish writer Vicente Clavel Andres suggested the idea as a way to honor the famous writer Miguel de Cervantes. Four years later, the first celebration took place on October 7, Cervantes’ birthday. In 1930, it was moved to April 23, the date of his death.

7.(2025·江西南昌·一模)①There’s much excitement and argument about Artificial Intelligence (AI) (人工智能). One heated debate is whether robots will replace teachers in classrooms. Some think it’ll happen in the next ten years, while others believe a good teacher’s value, like building a child’s confidence and creativity, can’t be easily replaced.
②AI is not new for us and is already being used successfully in many fields, such as medicine, science and so on. So what does this mean for our future? In my view, AI will help kids to think more freely and creatively. Can AI possibly cut down the teaching work in the future, too? Of course. Our teachers are always busy preparing materials for their lessons. Just imagine how happy they would be if they don’t have to copy hundreds of paper, but instead, have this task or others done by machines.
③However, most importantly, I believe AI will not be able to copy the human mental condition totally, especially emotional intelligence (情商). What makes learning unforgettable is shared experience, human interaction (互相作用), and long-lasting positive relationships. For example, experienced teachers can comfort a student if he has suffered a serious loss. But robots may not do this well.
④I also believe we need to continue to celebrate our kids’ personality and their ability not only to make decisions but also make the right decisions. These are skills that they can get as they get more life experience and are given the space to experiment.
⑤In short, AI in education has both advantage and disadvantage. It’s a useful tool. It helps students learn better and reduces teachers’ workload. But it can never replace teachers. Teachers understand students’ feelings, guide them, and help with their overall development. The future of education needs to combine the good points of AI with teachers’ special abilities. This way, we can create a nice and efficient learning environment.

8.(2025·天津河西·一模)April 23 is known as World Book Day. The idea of setting a day to encourage reading came out from UNESCO (联合国教科文组织) in 1995. In fact, it started long before that in Spain. In 1922, Spanish writer Vicente Clavel Andres suggested the idea as a way to honor the famous writer Miguel de Cervantes. Four years later, the first celebration took place on October 7, Cervantes’ birthday. In 1930, it was moved to April 23, the date of his death.
Every year from 2001, one city around the world is chosen to be the UNESCO World Book Capital for a year. The task of the city is to carry out activities to encourage “a culture of reading and spreading its value in all ages in and out of the country.”

A.Teachers. B.Kids. C.Robots. D.AI.
4.What’s the structure of the passage?
A.B.C. D.
5.What’s the writer’s attitude towards the use of AI in education?
A.AI will completely replace teachers. B.AI is useless in education.
C.AI can be helpful but teachers’ role is still important. D.Teachers should only rely on AI in teaching.
