King Midas was very sad. He did not want any more gold. He wanted his daughter back. He made another wish.
Marigold was real again. King Midas was so happy that he gave her many gifts.
Marigold did not care about these gifts. She did not really want them.
Marigold only cared about nature. She loved the flowers and the animals.
How could she tell her father what was important to her?
Marigold said, "Thank you for your gifts. Now I want to give you a gift. I want to take you for a walk."
King Midas smiled. He said, "I did not know that walking was a gift."

Long ago there was a rich king named Midas. He loved his daughter, Marigold. Midas also loved gold. As time passed, Midas wanted more and more gold.
Every day Midas went to his favorite room: the treasure room. There he counted his coins. "I must have more gold," Midas said. "I will take a walk in my garden. Maybe that will make me happy."
"I wish everything I touch would turn to gold," cried Midas.
"I grant your wish, King Midas. Everything you touch will turn to gold," said the Greek god Dionysus. Then he disappeared.
Midas began to wander happily around the palace. He touched his hairbrush, and it turned to gold. His plates, forks, and spoons turned to gold.
