China’s traditional culture Revision in class Revision 语法:宾语从句(三),疑问词引导的宾语从句 1). 疑问词包括疑问代词(what, which, who, whose)和疑问副词(when, where, how, why) (1)引导词 eg. —Can you tell me when he will come back? —The day after tomorrow. (2)语序 在英语中,从句中用陈述句语序,即:主+谓。 eg. What are they talking about? I want to know. (合并为一句) I want to know what they are talking about. 但疑问词在句中作主语时,不改变语序. eg. Do you know what is wrong with him? Can you tell me who won the game? Revision (3)时态 从句中的时态要和主句保持一致,可分为以下几种情况: ①当主句时态为一般现在时时,从句可为任何时态。 eg. I don't know when he will go to Beijing. We know that Lily is doing her homework. ②当主句时态为一般过去时时,宾语从句用相应的过去的时态。 eg. I heard that you had a bad cold. ③当宾语从句所表达的内容是客观真理或客观事实时,无论主句时态如何, 宾语从句中都用一般现在时. eg. The teacher said that the earth moves around the sun. 老师说地球围绕太阳转。 2) 疑问词引导的宾语从句常常可以转化成疑问词+to do的简单句。 eg. I can't decide which shirt I should buy. = I can't decide which shirt to buy.
