Dear
Mike,
Im
glad
to
hear
from
you.
In
your
letter,
you
asked
about
the
special
courses
in
my
school.
Let
me
introduce
them
to
you.
The
special
courses
of
our
school
are
very
popular
with
the
students.
There
are
many
special
courses,
such
as
various
ball
games,
handicraft,
gardening,
and
traditional
Chinese
opera.
Every
student
in
our
school
has
studied
at
least
one
course.
We
take
courses
at
least
once
a
week.
Whats
more,
these
special
courses
have
a
lot
of
benefits
for
middle
school
students.
For
example,
if
you
play
some
ball
games,
your
body
will
be
healthy.
You
will
have
a
deeper
understanding
of
traditional
Chinese
culture
from
handicraft
or
traditional
Chinese
opera
courses.
All
in
all,
these
special
courses
are
very
meaningful.
Best
wishes!
Yours,
Li
Hui

Rules
in
My
Family
My
parents
are
very
strict.
I
have
many
family
rules.
Theyre
strict,
but
I
think
theyre
necessary.
For
example,
I
cant
go
out
with
my
friends
on
school
nights.
On
weekends,
I
have
to
go
home
before
nine
p.
m.
I
must
finish
my
homework
on
time.
I
cant
play
computer
games.
I
have
to
wash
clothes
by
myself.
I
have
to
get
up
at
six
oclock
every
morning.
And
I
have
to
be
in
bed
by
ten
oclock.
Thanks
to
the
rules,
I
can
live
healthily.
But
I
think
being
in
bed
by
ten
oclock
is
unfair!
Students
need
nine
hours
sleep!
I
think
playing
some
computer
games
is
not
bad.
So
I
think
the
family
rules
can
make
some
changes.

We
have
sent
people
to
the
moon
in
spaceships.
What
do
you
think
space
cities
will
be
like
in
the
future?
The
buildings
in
space
dont
look
very
different
1
modern
small
towns
on
the
Earth.
People
have
tried
to
make
2
like
the
ones
they
know,
so
space

will
do
the
same.
Gravity
(重力)
makes
3
life
possible.
Without
gravity,
you
will
float
(漂浮)
in
the
air.
Nobody
would
want
to
live
for
a
long
time
in
a
space
city
where
4
floats
around.
The
space
city
is
like
a
huge
wheel.
It
turns
around
slowly
every
minute,
5
the
people
in
space
feel
the
pull
of
gravity
just
like
we
do
on
the
Earth.
The
space
city
would
always
have
sunlight.
A(n)

would
float
above
the
city.
It
would
reflect
(反射)
7

small
mirrors
that
would
lead
it
into
the
city.
Shutters
(百叶窗)
would
be
used
to
8
when
sunlight
comes
in.
It
would
be
closed
to
create
night-time.
The
9
of
the
city
could
be

10,000
people.
Farmers
would
be
able

10

how
much

this
number
of
people.

What
will
life
in
the
future
be
like?
And
what
will
we
be
able
to
do
in
the
future?
Genetic
engineering
(基因工程)
may
help
us
make
the
perfect
human.
Babies
may
grow
up
to
play
basketball
like
many
super
basketball
stars.
Also,
we
may
be
able
to
bring
the
dead
back
to
life.
Maybe
people
will
be
able
to
meet
and
talk
with
their
dead
family
members.
Over
the
next
20
to
50
years,
it
will
become
harder
to
tell
if
a
person
is
dead
or
alive.
Perhaps
humans
will
be
able
to
make
copies
of
ourselves,
so
we
will
appear
to
be
alive
long
after
we
are
dead.
Humans
may
be
able
to
find
ways
of
putting
the
life
of
a
person
into
a
new
body.
Nanobots
(纳米机器人)
will
be
important.
We
will
use
them
when
we
are
sick.
For
example,
when
we
have
a
stomachache,
we
will
swallow
(吞
下)
a
nanobot
and
it
will
tell
the
doctor
whats
happening
in
our
stomachs
by
taking
a
video
with
its
camera.
In
the
future,
computers
may
have
feelings.

Ⅲ. 任务型阅读(2024 安庆二模)
Last
month,
we
had
a
spring
outing. My
classmates
and
I
went
to
an
educational
base
in
the
city
of
Dujiangyan.
We
were
told
that
we
needed
to
cook
by
ourselves
there.
So
before
setting
out,
we
prepared
fresh
vegetables
and
meat
such
as
potatoes
and
pork.
Whats
more,
oil
and
salt
were
needed,
too.
When
we
arrived
the
next
day,
we
were
really
surprised.
The
“ kitchen”
was
so
original
( 原始
的)!
Standing
on
the
grass,
we
found
only
a
big
iron
pot
on
top
of
a
pile
of
bricks
(砖块).
In
this
case,
we
needed
to
make
a
fire
by
ourselves.
We
had
never
experienced
anything
like
this
before.
Not
surprisingly,
we
didnt
have
good
control
over
the
fire.
Some
students
even
made
terrible
food.
I
cooked
garlic-flavored
spareribs
( 蒜 香 排
骨).
At
first,
I
mistook
cooking
wine
for
oil
and
poured
it
into
the
pot.
Unbelievable!
But
luckily,
we
found
out
in
time.
We
cleaned
the
pot
and
started
all
over
again.
There
were
even
more
funny
mistakes
like
that.
However,
we
still
finished
our
task.
On
the
way
back
to
school,
students
talked
about
this
fun
experience.
We
enjoyed
the
natural
beauty
and
learned
some
important
life
skills.
So,
for
those
students
who
never
cook,
I
would
say:
1. What
did
the
students
need
to
do
at
the
educational
base?
(不超过 10 个词)
2. Why
were
the
writer
surprised
when
they
got
to
the
base?
(不超过 10 个词)
3. What
would
the
writer
say
at
the
end
of
the
text?
(不超过 15 个词)
