单元语法清 英语 九年级下册 人教版 四清导航 语法精讲 Ⅰ.be supposed to do sth.与 be expected to do sth.结构 1．be supposed to do sth. be supposed to do sth.意为“应该做某事”。其人称、数和时态的变化在be动词上体现。to是动词不定式符号，后接动词原形。 2 (1)be supposed to do sth.的句式结构 ①肯定句：主语＋be supposed to do sth. ②否定句：主语＋be＋not＋supposed to do sth.　如： You're not supposed to eat in the classroom.你不应该在教室里吃东西。 ③一般疑问句：Be＋主语＋supposed to do sth.？　如： Are you supposed to play sports after school？你放学后应该做运动吗？ ④特殊疑问句：疑问词＋be＋主语＋supposed to do(＋其他)？　如： What are you supposed to do after school？放学后你应该做什么？ 当疑问词为who时，句式应为：Who＋be supposed to do sth.？如： Who is supposed to give a report today？今天该谁作报告了？ 3 (2)be supposed to do sth.的用法 ①当be supposed to do sth.的主语是“人”时，意为“应该做某事；被期望做某事”，可用来表示劝告、建议、义务、责任等。如： You're supposed to put up your hand if you have some questions in class.如果你在课堂上有问题，你应该举手。 ②当be supposed to do sth.的主语是“物”时，意为“本该做某事”，用于表示某事本应该发生而实际并没有发生。如： The meeting is supposed to take place on Tuesday，but we have to put it off.这次会议本应该在周二举行，但我们不得不把它推迟了。 ③be为was/were时，表示“(过去)本应该做某事而没有做”。如： You were supposed to be here in the morning！你本该上午就到这里！ The train was supposed to come an hour ago.火车本应在一个小时前到。 2．be expected to do sth. be expected to do sth.表示“被期望做某事；应该做某事”。它比be supposed to do sth.的主观性更强。如： Parents can't be expected to watch their children 24 hours a day.不能指望父母全天24小时都照看自己的孩子。 5 Ⅱ.“It is＋adj.＋to do sth.”句式的用法 “It is＋adj.＋to do sth.”为固定句型，其中it是形式主语，真正的主语是动词不定式(短语)。因为动词不定式(短语)作主语相对较长，为了避免头重脚轻，所以用it作形式主语。如： I think it's important to sleep eight hours a day.我认为每天睡8个小时很重要。 【拓展】(1)“It is＋adj.＋for sb. to do sth.”意为“对某人来说做某事是……的”。此句型中的形容词常用于表示事物的特征、特点，如easy，impossible，difficult，interesting，important，hard等，用来说明后面的动词不定式(短语)。 (2)“It is＋adj.＋of sb. to do sth.”意为“做某事某人是……的”。此句型中的形容词常用于表示人物的性格、品德，如good，kind，nice，clever，polite等，用来说明of后的sb.。 6 语法精练 Ⅰ.用括号内所给单词的适当形式填空 1．Teenagers are not expected ___________ (drink). 2．The train is supposed __________ (be) here at 6：00 p．m. 3．It is important __________ (follow) the doctor's advice. 4．You're supposed __________ (shake) hands for the first time. 5．It's necessary for students __________ (know) the importance of studying. to drink to be to follow to shake to know Ⅱ.单项选择 ( )6.In my country，________ is polite to take a small gift when you visit somebody for the first time.
