On a video online, fish-shaped lanterns move in the air as if they are swimming in the water. Students from Shenzhen Yangang Middle School invented these AI fish lanterns. They are all members of the school science club.
Tan Wenbo is a student who is responsible for the system’s development. He explained that a sensor (传感器) on the head of a lantern would recognize (辨别) different shapes. Then it would send the result to drive the paper fish to perform moves.
By the time Jiang Jiahan joined the club, the first model had been completed. “The old model’s weight was too heavy to carry,” he said. Then he made lanterns out of xuan paper and iron wiring (铁线). The improvement successfully cut the lantern’s weight from five kilograms to two kilograms.
Yang Tao worked on the Al system’s coding (编程) part. He said he had no programming experience before. Then he taught himself to code after joining the fish-lantern project.
Besides the AI fish lantern, members of the science club are also using their know ledge on their scientific inventions. For example, Qiu Yiyuan created a hand-seized (手持的) robot car that can lift small objects. Zhang Qiang is the teacher of the club. Fish babies in space?! In a space study on zebrafish (斑马鱼), Chinese scientists have set a new record. They successfully got four zebrafish to live and grow in a closed water world.
The zebrafish went to China’s space station on the Shenzhou-18 spaceship on April 25. Since then, they have been living in a closed fish tank (缸) with some plants. The fish grew up and had babies in 43 days.
In their special closed environment, the plants made air for the fish and the fish’s waste gave the plants food. The scientists gave the fish food through a special needle (针管).
Such a closed-loop ecosystem (封闭生态系统) is important for future studies in space. It means that plants and animals can live in space more simply and easily.
The scientists also found that the zebrafish acted differently than on Earth. For example, they often swam on their back. The low gravity (重力) in space is a big reason. On Earth, gravity pulls everything to Earth’s center, and animals can find their way easily. Gravity also makes their bodies work harder and become stronger, said The Conversation.
Humans and zebrafish share 70 percent of the same genes (基因). So the new finding will help scientists better understand human health.
Choose the best choice from A, B or C according to the passage.

This morning, Frank was in a hurry to get to the office because someone was waiting for him there. Unfortunately, he got stuck in a traffic jam (遇上了交通阻塞). All the cars were lined up, and drivers were honking (按喇叭) at each other in anger. Frank got out of his car and moved forward to see what was causing the traffic jam.
At a turn, he saw a young man trying hard to restart his car. Clearly, the car had broken down for some reason. Everyone there was just staring at the man without offering any help. At the same time, they were blaming (指责) the man for the traffic jam. The number of cars stuck in traffic was growing, and the man looked very embarrassed.
Seeing this, Frank quickly went to help the man. Four other drivers followed him. Together, they pushed the car, and soon it started with a loud noise. The young man smiled with relief when his car started again. He thanked the people who helped him and said sorry to everyone before driving away.
In life, we all make mistakes. These mistakes are usually not on purpose but happen because of unexpected situations at times. When others make mistakes, we often blame them, but when we make mistakes, we want others to understand and help us. However, during difficult times, working together is better than blaming when we solve problems.

A. Scientists from different countries did it together.
B. The zebrafish gave birth to four babies in 25 days.

A. B. C.
73. What was the result of the low gravity in space?
A. Human bodies got stronger.
B. Animals could easily find their way.
C. The zebrafish swam upside down.
74. What is the last paragraph mainly about?
A. The plan for studying human genes.
B. Further studies on zebrafish.
