Language functions The main language functions include expressing opinions, agreeing and disagreeing, and making suggestions. Vocabulary and grammar Key vocabulary includes words related to travel, such as "trip," "excluding," and "plan." Grammar points include the use of the present continuous tense to discuss future plans. Students' current English proficiency level Intermediate to advanced grammar and vocabulary knowledge, ability to understand and produce basic to intermediate level spoken and written English. 01 02 Students' needs To develop listening comprehension skills for academic and every day English, to enhance speaking fluency and accuracy for effective communication, and to build confidence in using English for real world purposes. 2.Analysis of Learning Situation ✭Knowledge objectives Students will be able to understand and use key vocabulary and grammar structures related to travel and table manner. ✭Ability objectives Students will be able to listen for specific information in a conversation and response appropriately using the target language. ✭Vlue objectives Students' awareness of cultural exchange can be improved after this course. 3.Teaching objectives Use of materials Incorporate English audio and video clips to expose students to natural language use and enhance listening comprehension. Interactive speaking activities Design pairs and group work activities that resource students to practice speaking English in a low stress, communicative environment. Integration of grammar and vocabulary Reinforce key grammar structures and vocabulary through contextualized practice in listening and speaking activities. 4.Teaching methods The main focus of the lesson is on listening comprehension and speaking skills related to travel planning. Teaching focus Students may have trouble understanding cultural differences,teachers should provide clear explanations and plenty of practice opportunities to help students overcome these difficulties.
