Lead-in 1.The teacher plays an English song “Lemon Tree”. Students should find out the verbs and try to find out the rules. 2.The teacher shows some pictures and guides ss to talk about the things people are doing. A: What is he/ she doing at the moment? B: He/ She is … at the moment. A: What are they doing right now? B: They are … right now. Step 2. Grammar 1.Let Ss observe pictures on PPT and guide them to make sentences. These sentences have the same structure as sentences in grammar box. Then, let ss read the sentences together. Make sure Ss can understand the sentences. 2. Read the sentences in the grammar box and observe the verbs in bold. After that, ask ss to work in groups to find out the rules. 一、现在进行时 1.含义: 现在进行时表示现在(说话瞬间)正在进行或发生的动作，也可表示现阶段正在进行的动作。 2.结构: 肯定句: He is watching a film. They are exercising. 否定句: He isn’t watching a film. They aren’t exercising. 一般疑问句: Is he watching a film? Are they exercising? Yes, he is./ No, he isn’t. Yes, they are./ No, they aren’t. 特殊疑问句: What is he doing? What are they doing? 肯定句: be+动词ing 否定句: be+not+动词ing am not isn’t +动词ing aren’t 一般疑问句:将be动词提前 特殊疑问句:特殊疑问词+is/are引导的一般疑问句 Step 3. Practice 1.
