I. Teaching Objectives
1. Students will be able to review the words, phrases and sentence structures in Unit 1-Unit 3.
2. Students will be able to talk about how they are going to celebrate special days.

4. Students will be able to write a short passage to share how to keep healthy.
5. Students will be able to know that they should appreciate and care for others.

III. Teaching Procedures
Step 1 Warm-up and revision
Task 1 Sharp eyes.
The teacher presents the calendar of 2024 and circle the special days one by one randomly. Students say out phrases of the special days.
【Purpose】To liven up the atmosphere and help the students review the phrases of the special days.
Step 2 Presentation
Task 1 Look, fill and say.
(1) The teacher presents the scenario that some students don't feel well and they are in the hospital on May 7th.
(2) The teacher presents the dialogues between the doctor and the students with some words missing and gives some pictures as hints. Students look at the pictures, fill in the blanks to complete the dialogues and read the completed dialogues.
【Purpose】To help students review the words and sentences they have learned through the dialogue.
Task 2 Look and say.
(1) The teacher presents the scenario that the students recover a few days later.
(2) The teacher presents the dialogue between Lily and Binbin. Students read the dialogue together.
(3) The teacher asks a question: “What does Joy/Binbin want to do on Nurses' Day?” and presents the sentence structure, and then shows the pictures one by one. Students look at the pictures and say the completed sentences to answer the questions.
【Purpose】To help the students review the phrases and sentence structures they have learned.
Task 3 Let's play.
(1) The teacher plays the video of B Let's play on P38 of the textbook. Students watch the video and read after it.
(2) The teacher asks a question: “What would you like to do on special days?” Students think and discuss.
(3) The teacher presents the sentence structures and some pictures for reference, and then divides students into groups of two. Students take roles to ask and answer, and then make a new dialogue according to the sentence structures.
(4) The teacher invites some groups to show.
【Purpose】To help students review the sentence structures through group work.
Step 3 Practice
Task 1 Word search.
The teacher presents some disordered letters and some words in Unit1-Unit 3. Students search the words and say them out.
Task 2 Listen and number.
The teacher presents the exercise of A Listen and number on P38 of the textbook and plays the audio. Students listen to the audio and number the pictures in order.
Task 3 Listen and fill.
The teacher presents the listening text of A Listen and number with some words missing, and then plays the audios again. Students listen to the audios and fill in the blanks to complete the text.
Step 4 Production
Task 1 Read and underline.
The teacher presents the passage of C Read and write on P39 of the textbook, and then assign a task: Please underline the habits mentioned. Students read the passage and underline.
Task 2 Read and sort.
The teacher presents the habits in task 1. Students read the passage again and sort them in group “Should Do” or “Shouldn't Do”.
Task 3 Discuss and say.
The teacher presents some pictures and sentence structures for reference, and then divides students into groups of two. Students practice in groups and take notes.
Task 4 Let's write.
(1) The teacher presents the example passage with some words missing, and then presents the pictures one by one. Students look at the pictures and complete the passage.
(2) Students read the completed passage together and write their own passages to introduce ways to be healthy.
Task 5 Good to know.
The teacher asks a question: “How to keep mental health?” and plays the video. Students watch the video carefully and know some ways to keep mental healthy.
Step 5 Summary
Let's have a look at what the students have learnt today.
1. Review the words, phrases, and sentence structures in Unit 1-Unit 3.
2. Talk about how they are going to celebrate special days.
3. Read the passage and know some ways to be healthy.
4. Write a short passage to share how to keep healthy.

1. Read the words, phrases and sentences in Unit 1-Unit 3.
2. Finish writing the short passage to share how to keep healthy with your parents.
