三、阅读下面短文,根据其内容,完成表格中所缺信息。
When your pen is broken, the battery in your toy runs out, what do you do with these things? You will probably throw them all away. But actually, all of these pieces of waste need to be sorted. On July 1, 2019, Shanghai created a new rule about sorting rubbish. Everyone in the city must sort his or her rubbish into four kinds: wet, dry, harmful, and recyclable.
According to the new rule, people who fail to sort garbage properly can be fined up to 200 yuan. The new rule is to change the past voluntary action into compulsory action for everyone.
To better carry out the rule, Shanghai has worked with Alipay to create a “green account” service for its people. Account holders get points by correctly sorting their rubbish according to the new rule. Through the Alipay app, they can get milk, phone cards and other products when they have enough points.
Why should we sort our rubbish? The answer lies in the increasing amount of waste we are producing. Chinese cities produce over 200 million tons of waste each year. Most of the waste is buried, which may pollute water and land. Besides, it’s harder to find new space to bury the waste.
In fact, more than half of our waste can be recycled. Recyclable rubbish can be made into new materials, while wet waste can be used to make gas and heat. But in order to better recycle, we need to sort our rubbish.
Can’t sorting-processing factories do the sorting job for us? They can. But that requires a lot of work and money. Things will become much easier if each of us can sort our own rubbish. Besides, less waste may be produced when people are encouraged by this. According to a study, over 90 percent of people believe that rubbish-sorting is important for the protection of the environment.
