山西2024~2025学年高二年级3月份调研测试·英语 参考答案、解析及评分细则 听力部分录音稿 (Teri1) W: Excuse me, officer. How do I get to the Teen Eye Building? M: Cross Madison Street and turn left. Go on one block on 7th Street and you'll see the building opposite a museum (Tex2) M: Hurry up, Rosie. I need to have a shower before I go to work. Are you washing your hair? W: No, I've just cleaned my teeth. I am just going to wash my face. (Text3) M: Guess what, Vicky? I'm moving to Boston. W: Moving? Why? M: Because I want to live in a big city. I need some exciting things in my life. And it is convenient W: But living in a city is dangerous. There's a lot of violence. (Text4) W: Are there any other requirements for this position? M: Yes, you have to master several languages. W: Well, I can speak Spanish and a little bit of French. And I am attending an English class now (Text5) W: You're driving to Washington on Saturday morning M: Yes. I'm going to the Smithsonian Museum on Saturday. And on Sunday, I'm going to take the kids to the zoo W: Wow. You'll be tired for work on Monday. (Tert6) W. Oh my God! We're moving so slowly. Is there a traffic accident ahead? M: No, there are too many cars. Although this road doesn't sit at the center of the downtown, the traffic is always terrible on Monday morning. Are you in a hurry, ma'am? W: Yes, but don't worry about it. Safety is much more important than speed. M: I will, ma'am. I will take shortcuts to get you there on time. W: Thank you. I appreciated that. (Text7) W: I heard the manager saying that you and your wife like watching movies. Would you like to see one this weekend? M: Yes, I was thinking of checking out the Sunday movies. They are playing Mary Poppins there this weekend. You see. I am a real big fan of classical movies. W: Oh, that's perfect. I got these two free tickets that you can use at that theater. My brother gave them to me. M: Really? That's very nice of you. (Text8) M: What time are we going to eat dinner, Tina? I'm hungry. W: I don't know, Bill. Ask Joan. She's going to cook M: No, she's not. She says she is going to her friend Maria's house, Maria's mother is going to make a French dinner. W: Well, then, we'll have to cook dinner ourselves. Let's have hamburgers. 【高二3月份调研测试·英语参考答案 第1页(共6页)】 M: Oh, no! I don't want to eat hamburgers all the time. Why don't we eat Chinese food? It's really good W: I had Chinese food yesterday, Maybe we can try some Japanese food. It's healthy. M: Where are we going to find Japanese food in Mayfield? W: That's easy. There's a new Japanese restaurant on Main Street. M: OK. We can go there for dinner (Tert9) W: OK, so it's up to us to hold the end of school year party for our class. How can we make it a really good one? M: Well, it shouldn't be too difficult. Everyone will be so happy that all their exams are over that they'll all want to have a party. We just need good music. W: No. We should do something to make it really special. We could ask people to dress up. We could tell everyone to come as a famous character from a film. M: But it'll be difficult to find the clothes. W. Well, mavbe you're right. What else could we do then? M: We could organize some games and competitions! W: Well, I like games. But it might seem a bit like school if we had competitions M: Yeah, but we could think of some fun games. W: OK. We can talk about it tomorrow. Let's think about food now. What about bread or fried chicken? They are easy to prepare. M: Why not have different kinds of pizza? Everyone likes pizza W: Good idea. (Teit 10) W: Last Christmas, I was invited to Canada by my aunt Judy. I had never been to other countries. So I was so excited about the trip that I didn't sleep well for several nights. On the day of leaving, my father thought that I might be caught in the traffic jam if I took a bus to the airport, so he drove me there. But our car broke down on the way. As the time went by, I began to worry about missing the flight. I decided to stop a car to take me to the airport. Many cars went past me with high speed before a white Bora stopped by my side. Thanks to the driver, I arrived at the airport just in time at 1:5o pm to catch my plane, which would leave ten minutes later. It was my first flight and I was a bit nervous. When the plane was taking off, my ears felt funny. I was really sick. Luckily it was all over after a while. On my window seat, I could enjoy the bird's-eye view of beautiful cities, land, grass, forests and blue sea. Sometimes our plane flew right over the white clouds. Unluckily I didn't see any hills. Maybe I missed them. What a wonderful view! 参考答案 1~5 BACAA 6~10 ABCBB 11~15 CACCA 16~20 BABCB 21. It's none other than Barbie, the doll. A little hard to believe that, but the Barbie doll started out as a human being! She was Barbara Handler, the daughter of Ruth and Elliot Handler. The inspiration for Barbie came in the early 195os, as Ruth was watching her daughter Barbara playing with paper dolls. Barbara and her friends used the dolls to play adults or teenagers, imagining roles of college students, cheerleaders and other adults for them. Ruth immediately recognized that experimenting with the future from a safe distance through play was an important part of growing up. Because all the adult dolls at the time were made of paper or cardboard, Ruth decided to create a 3D adult female doll, one lifelike(栩栩如生的) enough to serve as an inspiration for her daughter's dream of her future Ruth took her idea to the ad department at Mattel Corp., the company that she and her husband had founded some years before. The committee rejected the idea as it would cost too much money with little potential(潜力) for mass-market appeal. Then Ruth returned from a trip to Europe with a"Lilli" doll, modeled after a character in a German comic strip(连环漫画). She spent some time designing a doll similar to Lilli, and even hired a designer to make realistic doll clothes. The result was the Barbie doll, named in honor of the Handlers'daughter, and a model of the "girl next door". Mettel finally agreed to support Ruth's efforts. The Barbie doll's first step to the market was at the American Toy Fair in New York City in 1959. Girls cheered for the doll, and Barbie set a new sales record for Mattel in its first year on the market. Since then, Barbie's popularity has rarely weakened. Why did the committee of Mattel Corp. disagree with Ruth's idea at first? A. The company was too poorly managed to invest in the product. B. The company lacked the equipment to make the product. C. There was a similar product on the market D. The product might not attract customers. 27. What might be the best title for the text? A. Establishment of Mattel B. Appearance of Barbie doll C. Real story behind original Barbie D. Most successful designer C The term“Pygmalion effect"was coined(创造新词) in reference to studies done in the 196os on the influence of teacher expectations on students' IQs. The studies asked if teachers had high expectations, would those expectations become self-fulfilling prophecies (预 言) regardless of initial IQs? In that particular case, years of debate and analysis have resulted in the conclusion that the effects were slight However, the concept of the Pygmalion effect-expectations influencing performance and becoming self-fulfilling prophecies-is widespread. Many people have stories of achieving something just because someone had especially high expectations of them The Pygmalion effect suggests our reality is negotiable and can be influenced by others-on purpose or by accident. What we achieve, how we think, how we act, and how we perceive our capabilities can be affected by the expectations of those around us. An interesting use of the Pygmalion effect might be that which is suggested by George Bernard Shaw's play Pygmalion. In it, Professor Henry Higgins takes a poor flower seller from the streets, Eliza Doolittle, and by giving her lessons helps her sound like a duchess(公爵夫人). Being able to speak like a member of the upper classes is meant to open doors and give her opportunities that she would otherwise never have. Eliza finally appears to be a duchess as Higgins wishes. The expectations people have of us affect us in countless subtle(微妙的) ways each day. Like Eliza Doolittle, those expectations affect the opportunities we are offered how we are spoken to, and the praise and criticism we receive Individually, these may have minimal impact. In the long run, however, they might decide whether we will succeed or fail or fall somewhere in between. The Pygmalion effect is best understood as a reminder to be mindful of the potential influence of our expectations. Even if the effect is small, having high expectations in many situations can only inspire others regarding their own capabilities. People's limitations can be stretched if you change your perception of their limitations. A lot of what we accomplish in life is done in groups.
