We've all heard of smart phones, but how about smart clothing? A company called Cute Circuit has developed new football shirts for football fans. They can help deaf football fans to "feel" the atmosphere(气氛) of the stadium(运动场)during a game.
People who have hearing problems can't listen to music as normal people do, but they can feel it. Sound is made up of microphone vibrations. Deaf people can feel vibrations with the help of some part of the brain which normal people use for hearing.
How does this amazing shirt work? Cute Circuit sets microphones around Newcastle United stadium to receive the sound of the people cheering and singing. A computer program analyses(分析) the sounds picked up and changes them into data(数据). Then it will be sent to the football shirts. Little motors(发动机)inside the shirts would vibrate. Finally, the wearer will feel the sounds of the people.
Deaf and hard-of-hearing people can also use the shirts to feel live music in the concert. The very deep musical sounds of instruments like drums and basses vibrate close to the stomach. Higher sounds from instruments like the violin, the guitar or the dizi vibrate higher around the neck and arms. Besides, the shirts can be used to feel sounds while playing video games.
The football shirts were used for the first time at St James' Park, Newcastle United stadium, on April 13th. They will be available for deaf or hard-of-hearing fans at all Newcastle matches that are played at the stadium from now on.

Experts in nutrition(营养) suggest that we should eat at least five different kinds of vegetables and fruit a day. They are necessary for our health and help our bodies work well. There are a lot of vegetables and fruit to choose from and they taste delicious. 44 We all know it’s easy to buy our food from the supermarket, then why do we go to the trouble of growing our own? Here are several good reasons:
45 .You can pick and eat it at once. When you have tried it, you will agree that vegetables and fruit that are eaten straight from the garden taste better than anything you can buy in a supermarket.
You may shorten your “food miles” — the distance that a product has travelled before it reaches your kitchen. You may also save lots of plastic(塑料) bag which are used to package. 46
Homegrown food is likely to be healthier. Food producers often use some chemicals which can end up in your food. If you grow your own, things are different. 47 You might also choose to grow some traditional vegetables and fruit. These often have more nutrition to help you keep healthy.
Growing your own isn’t that difficult. 48
A. Food that you grow yourself is always fresh.
B. Best of all, you can grow your own.
C. That’s not so good for you, or for the planet.
D. You can also use plastic bottles and cups to grow something.
E. You can control what goes on and into the food you eat.

American boys and girls love watching TV. Some children spend six hours a day in school and four to six hours a day in front of the TV set. Some even watch TV for eight hours or more on Saturday or Sunday.
Every coin has two sides. A child can learn both bad things and good things from TV programs. Some programs help children to understand the news, and others show people and places from other countries or other times in history. The programs can help educate them well. A program makes it easier for little kids to learn about animals. They do not have to go to the zoo to see animals or to the ocean to see a ship. Boys and girls can see a play, a concert or a game at home.
