Adverbial Clause of Condition 条件状语从句
1. if 意为“如果,要是,倘若”,引导条件状语从句
如果主句是将来时、祈使句或含有情态动词时,从句通常用一般现在时表将来,也就是我们常说的 “主将从现,主情从现,主祈从现”
eg. If it snows tomorrow, we’ll make snowmen together.
If you are ill,you must go to see the doctor.
Please ring me up if you want to go with me.
▲ 可以与祈使句+and/or+句子”来转换(and 表顺承,or 表转折)或without 、with 来转换
g. If you study hard, you will pass the exam easily.

5. Shall I/we+v.原型?“我(们)…,好吗?” 表示提供帮助、提出建议、要求给予和征求意见
① May I+v.原型?常用于征求对方的意见,意为“我可以………吗?”。
②Will you+v.原型?常用于请求对方,同时征求对方意见,意为“请你……好吗?”
Will you+v.原型的否定形式为“Will you not+v.原型?”。

6. task n. 任务,工作

7. touch v.& n. 触,碰;触觉;触动,感动
eg. Don’t touch the plate. It’s hot.

get in touch with 与……联系;和……接触
keep in touch (with sb.) (与某人)保持联系
lose touch (with sb.) (与某人)失去联系
e.g. You can get in touch with the school by telephone or by e-mail.

11. make的用法:
①make sth. 制作某物。

③make+宾语+形容词(宾补)。

15. imagine v.想象 imagination n. 想象力,想象
imagine doing sth./imagine sb. doing sth. 想象(某人)做什么
sb. + imagine(想象,认为) + 宾语从句”,表示某人的看法和想象。
eg. I imagine (that) he will be late.
The little boy always imagines flying to the space one day.

语法:宾语从句
1. 用来作宾语的句子是宾语从句. 宾语从句可用来作动词、介词、动词不定式、动名词以及某些形容词的宾语.
2. 宾语从句三大要素:
1) 连词
① 陈述句作宾语从句时, 用连接词that, 不做成分, 通常that可以省略
eg. I think (that) we can have it on our school playground.
② 当一般疑问句变为宾语从句时, 用if/whether(是否)连接, 不可省略, 表示不确定的事实
eg. Does Li Lei study hard? → I don’t know if/wheter Li Lei studies hard.
③当特殊疑问句变为宾语从句时, 由相应的疑问词连接
eg. What do you want to do? → I know what you want to do.
2) 语序 宾语从句要用陈述句的语序. 但疑问词作主语,则不改变语序.

3) ①当主句的谓语动词用一般现在时或一般将来时的时候,从句的谓语动词通常不受主句的限制,即从句的时间是什么,谓语动词就用什么形式。
②当主句的谓语动词是一般过去时的时候,从句的谓语动词要用过去的某种时态。
③当主句的谓语动词用的是一般过去时,而从句表示的是客观事实或真理时,从句的谓语动词不受主句的限制,通常用一般现在时。
eg. Kangkang says (that) Jane gets home at 6 o'clock every day.
Michael hopes (that) they will raise a lot of money on the food festival.
Maria told me (that) she lost her bike yesterday.
Maria told me (that) he was doing his homework at 7 o'clock last night.
My teacher told us (that) the earth is round.
2. Discuss what the children should prepare for the food festival. The following example and phrases may help you.

B: Yes, I think so./No, I don’t think so. I think they need to cook soup.
