教材分析:
本章主要围绕“Expressing yourself.”以如何表达自己的感情围绕并且展开的。本单元的重点就是如何表达自己。通过表达自己对于宠物以及家人的喜欢,从而引出本单元的重点。
Read and number the pictures.主要从四个方面描述表达自己的方式。第一条是从沟通开始,我们可以用嘴沟通,用表情沟通,用动作沟通。 第二条是我们可以画画,或者制作卡片。第三天是我们可以唱歌跳舞。第四条则是我们可以通过微笑来表示很多东西。其中复习了B Let’s learn 的词组 “sing and dance”, “draw a picture” “make a card”, 又学习了两个新单词”talk””smile”.
Look write and choose 是一个针对写作的活动。第一个图片表达了Zip 爱狗的心情复习了句子”I love my dog.” 通过观察来描述狗子的外貌,并且复习了句子”It has ... .” 第二个则是Zip对自己的父亲表达了爱意,并且复习了句子” I often ...”.
学情分析:
三年级下学期学生处于英语启蒙阶段,好奇心强但注意力易分散,已掌握基础词汇(如家庭成员、日常物品)和简单句型(如“This is...”),但口语表达与书写规范性较弱,个体差异显著。学生对生活化主题兴趣浓厚,课堂参与积极,但课后自主复习意识不足,部分学生因缺乏成就感产生学习倦怠。教学中需结合游戏、歌曲等趣味活动强化语言实践,通过分层任务(如基础词汇训练与创造性表达)兼顾不同能力水平,并设计生活化作业(如用英语介绍家庭)促进家校协同,以巩固知识并维持学习动力。由于学习的英语的时间短,有一定的热情和表达欲望。本节课又是表达对于自己母亲的爱意。他们想要表达也乐于表达。在表达的同时,我们也一定要加入游戏,维持住他们对于学习英语的热爱。由于他们写作时间较短,我们一定要多写,多练,加强他们的写作能力。

Step 2: Presentation and Practice
1. Look choose and write
(1)Look and say.
T: John loves his pet. And he loves his mum too. What does John often do?
Ss: I often say love you to mum.
Let students guess Wu Binbin’s pet in the same way.
It is very ____________.
It has _______________.
It has ______________.
Check the answer: thin, long legs, a long tail
T: He loves his pet too. And he loves his mum. What does Wu Binbin often do for his mum?
S1: I often make her gifts.
Let students describe a cat and rabbit.
It is ... . It has ... .
(2)Look, choose and write
T: Who is he?
Ss: Zip.
T: Yes, he has a pet, too. It’s a ... .
Ss: Dog.
T: What’s the dog look like? Can you describe it?
S1: It is ... ./ It has ... .
T: It is yellow and white. It has a long body. It has short body.
Ask students to choose and write the sentence.
Check the answers
T: Zip loves his dad. What does Zip often do for his dad?
S1: I often make a card/ cards for my dad.

Let students practice the sentence structure “I often ... for my dad/ mum.”
Ask students to make a sentence.
(3)Teach the new word “express”
T: How to express ourselves.
Ss: We can ... .
T: We can sing song to express ourselves. See. I’m very happy now. Now let’s read together, express.
Let students read it one by one.
2.Pre-reading.
T: What other ways can we express?
Show the picture of page 21. (课件出示:课本上21页的read)
S1: We can talk.
T: Yes, we can talk.
T: Our mouth can talk. See.
Ss: Our face can talk. Our body can talk.
T: Good job. Our mouth, face, body. They can all talk.
Emphasize the word "all" and explain its meaning in the context.
T: We can talk and we can smile. Now let do together.
Let students smile.
T: Wu Binbin’s mum smiles. What will she say?
T: I’m happy./ That’s nice. / I love you. A smile can say so much.
Emphasize the phrase "so much" and explain its meaning in the context.
3.Read and number
Let students do the exercise.

4.Listen to the dialogue again and imitate.
Play the recording and let students listen and imitate sentence by sentence.
5. Read the dialogue.
Ask students to read the dialogue freely and then in pairs or in groups.
6. Read and fill in blanks

1. Review the sentence structures “Let’s ... .”
