Module 1 Unit 2教学设计外研版英语九年级下册 Unit 2 It’s a long story. 教学目标 1. 学生能够流利朗读课文。 2. 能够理解情景剧大意。 3. 能够运用速读和精读的阅读技巧，提高提取信息、仿写片段的能力；能运用所学知识表达自己或他人的爱好。 4. 学习如何更有效地在旅行过程中放松自己，同时学会一些通过其他方式无法习得的知识和技能。 重点难点 1. 重点： (1) 掌握本单元的词汇和句型。 (2) 掌握冠词、名词和数词的用法。 2. 难点： (1) 能够复述课文。 (2) 能够编写一幕情景剧。 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in Show some pictures and talk about trips by train with students. T: Have you ever taken the train to travel? Ss: Of course. T: Look at the pictures. Have you ever been in such a situation? How do you feel about taking the train? How about the facilities, food and service on the train? Are there so many people? S1: Most of the time, I feel comfortable because there are not so many people and it’s comfortable on the train. But sometimes... S2: Especially during the Spring Festival, so many people are on the train. It’s very dirty and noisy, so I feel uncomfortable. T: Really it’s a problem. What happened during your trip? Can you think of anything you want to share with us? S3: I met a strange man... T: Good story. Now, let’s look at the expressions from the play in Activity 1. 【设计意图】通过图片引入乘火车旅游的话题，激发学生兴趣，让学生有话可说。 Step 2 Reading Before reading 1. Work in pairs. Let students look at the expressions in Activity 1 and discuss; What do you think the play will be about? 2. Ask some students to share their ideas. 3. Let students read the play quickly and number the expressions in the order they appear in Activity 2. While reading 1. Scanning and skimming (1) Get the students to read the play as quickly as possible and find out; Q1: How many people are there in the play? There are five people in the play. Find out the useful sentences and structures. 2. Finish the following mind map. 3.
