第五课时 Pronunciation

教学重点
1.让学生学会划分单词的音节,掌握单音节、双音节和多音节单词的特点。
2.帮助学生了解单词复数形式中音节的变化规律,提高单词的发音准确性。
3.引导学生通过诗歌朗诵,感受英语的韵律和节奏,进一步强化音节意识。
教学难点
使学生能够准确地划分不同类型单词的音节,尤其是一些复杂或不规则的单词。
◇教学过程◇
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the students as usual.
2.Say a few words with different numbers of syllables,asking students to listen carefully and clap their hands for each syllable they hear.
3.Sing a simple English song with clear syllables and ask students to identify some words in the song and count their syllables.
Step 2 Presentation
1.Write some words with one syllable,two syllables and three or more syllables.Read the words aloud slowly and ask students to listen carefully and observe how the mouth moves when pronouncing each syllable.
2.Explain the basic rule of syllables:a syllable usually contains a vowel sound with or without consonants.
3.Ask students to practise dividing the words on the blackboard into syllables and say them aloud.
Step 3 Practice
1.Work on A
(1)Ask students to listen to the given words and write down the number of syllables in each word in the blanks.
(2)Check the answers together and ask students to read the words aloud.
2.Work on B
(1)Play the recording of the singular and plural forms of the words and ask students to tick the box if they hear an extra syllable in the plural form.
(2)Check the answers and have a discussion with students about the reasons for the syllable changes.
Step 4 Production
1.Ask students to listen to the poem in C.
2.Guide students to read the poem with feelings and ask them to practise.
3.Invite some students to read in front of the students and give the suggestions.
◇教学反思◇
在这节语音课上,学生对音节的概念和划分有了初步的认识,但在实际操作中,部分学生仍难以准确划分一些较复杂的单词音节。在今后的教学中,应增加更多的练习时间和多样化的练习形式。
