Step 2 Work on 2a 1.Play the conversation recording for the first time.Students listen only and get a general idea of the content. 2.Play the recording again.This time,students listen and fill in the blanks with the correct adjectives. 3.Check the answers and explain the meaning of the adjectives and the context in which they are used. Step 3 Work on 2b-2c 1.Let students read the conversation silently and match the sentence parts to show their understanding of the process of water treatment. 2.Check the answers together. 3.Ask students to complete the summary of the conversation in 2c based on their understanding of the text. 4.Check the answers and have a few students read out their summaries to ensure they can retell the main points of the conversation. Step 4 Work on Pronunciation 3 and 2d 1.Play the recording of the short conversations in Pronunciation 3 for the first time.Ask students to listen carefully and circle the words they hear. 2.Play the recording again.Students listen and repeat the conversations,trying to imitate the native speakers’ pronunciation and intonation. 3.Listen to the conversation in 2a again.This time,students pay attention to the pronunciation of was,wasn’t,did,and didn’t in the context. 4.Ask students to practise the conversation in pairs,focusing on the pronunciation and fluency of the language. Step 5 Work on 2e 1.Ask students to think about a school trip they took to a special place and list some key words or phrases related to the trip. 2.In pairs,students ask and answer questions about their school trips using the questions provided as a guide. 3.Ask some students to share their conversations with the class and encourage other students to give comments. ◇教学反思◇ 　　本课时在巩固一般过去时的同时,拓展了学生关于学校旅行的话题表达,但部分学生在描述复杂经历和运用较难词汇时仍有困难。后续教学需增加词汇练习和写作指导,提供更多真实语境让学生练习。 1 立足安徽 精准备考 1 / 1 学科网（北京）股份有限公司 $$
