优秀范文记背
第一篇
Volunteer Work in Hongxing Community
Last Sunday I worked in Hongxing Community as a
volunteer.
Before the event began, we gathered at the entrance of
Hongxing Park at 9 o’clock. We volunteers were then divided
15
into groups. Some made eco-friendly products. Others gave out
reusable water bottles and the bags we made. I went all out to
work at the learning center, teaching neighbors how to properly
recycle to reduce trash here in town.
I shared what I know with others through the activity.
Sharing is caring. Wish everyone could care about our
community and the earth.
第二篇
Dear Tom,
Traditional festivals are an important part of Chinese
culture. I’m writing to tell you something about the Spring
Festival.
The Spring Festival is one of the most important
traditional festivals in China and it usually falls on the first
17
month of the Chinese Lunar Calendar. Before the Spring
Festival, people usually have a complete cleaning and put up
couplets on their doors. No matter how faraway people are,
they’ll try to return to their home. On the New Year’s Eve,
people have a big dinner and watch the Spring Festival Gala.
On the first day of the New Year, people set off fireworks to
celebrate the beginning of a new year.
People usually visit their relatives. I like the Spring Festival
best, because I can get lucky money.
Can you tell me something about the festivals in your
country?
Yours truly,
Li Hua
第三篇
In order to make our school more beautiful, I plan to do
some meaningful activities with my classmates.
The first thing we decide to do is to create a beautiful
environment. We will clean every corner of the school.
Meanwhile, more flowers and trees will be planted along the
main roads of the school. Our school will surely take on a new
look after our careful cleaning and gardening.
20
Then, it’s necessary to encourage our schoolmates to do
more reading. We will put up educational posters and set up
Reading Corners on every floor so that book lovers can share
their wonderful ideas. This will make learning possible in every
part of the school.
Besides, there will be lectures about good manners for the
students. Experts will show students not only how to dress
21
properly, but also behave politely at school. With their helpful
advice, students can realize the importance of one’s inner beauty
and become a better self.
Let’s all work together to make our school more beautiful.
第四篇
Dear friends,
Welcome to China! I’m so excited to share with you a
special Chinese handicraft—paper cutting. Paper cutting is a
traditional Chinese folk art that has been around for over
1,500 years. When making paper cuts, people turn simple pieces
of paper into beautiful designs. The paper, usually red, is folded
23
before it is cut with scissors, The most common shapes are
flowers, animals and characters from Chinese folk stories.
During the Spring Festival, beautiful paper cuts are put on
windows, doors and walls as symbols of wishes for good luck
and a happy new year.
I recommend paper cutting because it not only shows the
creativity of Chinese people but also carries deep cultural
meaning. It reflects the values, beliefs and customs of Chinese
people. Also, it is fun and relaxing for anyone to try.
Hope you’ll enjoy yourselves here. Thank you for your
listening.
