预习指导
一、方法指导
1.自主预习教材Page 25~26的新单词和短语,掌握词形及汉语意思。做到重点词汇能正确发音,明确其用法,着重记忆。
2.和搭档分角色朗读2d的对话。
二、预习检测
根据首字母及汉语提示补全单词
1.Her parents allow (允许) her to hang out with her friends on weekends.
2.She told me to guess (猜测) who was in the living room.
3.Don’t be angry.It’s not a big deal (交易).
4.I watched a film until (直到) midnight last night.
课堂教学
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the class.
2.Present the pictures on Page 25 and ask these questions:
T:What’s wrong with the girl?
S1:She has to study too much.
T:Do you have to study too much so you don’t get enough sleep?
S2:Yes,I do.

Step 2 Work on 1a-1c
1.Let the students discuss the problems in 1a with their partners and fill in the box.
2.Ask the students to read aloud the sentences in 1a and translate them.Make sure the students know the meaning of each sentence.
3.Let the students listen to the recording,finish 1b and check the answers in pairs.
4.Play the recording to check the answers with the whole class and ask the students to read after the tape.
5.Get the students to look at the problems in 1a and make conversations.Then ask some students to act out in pairs.
Step 3 Work on 2a-2b
1.Play the recording and let the students fill in the blanks in 2a.
2.Play the recording again to check the answers.
3.Play the recording for a third time and let the students complete the task in 2b.
4.Play the recording for a fourth time and check the answers with the whole class.And get the students to follow the recording.
Step 4 Work on 2c
1.Have the students read the conversation in the box and practice the conversation in pairs.
2.As they work,walk around to give pronunciation or language support as needed.
3.Ask some pairs to present their conversations.
Step 5 Work on 2d
1.Get the students to read the conversation and answer the questions:
(1)Who was Kim angry with?
(2)What did Kim’s sister do?
(3)What should Kim do?
2.Explain the language points in 2d.
3.Have the students read 2d aloud after the recording and role⁃play the conversation in pairs.
4.Invite some pairs to act out.
