1.自主预习教材Page 17~18的新单词和短语,掌握词形及汉语意思。做到重点词汇能正确发音,明确其用法,着重记忆。
2.和搭档分角色朗读2d的对话。
二、预习检测
根据汉语提示完成句子,每空一词
1.Linda often helps her mother do the dishes (洗餐具) after dinner.
2.Jack,remember to make your bed (整理床铺) after you get up.
3.—Could I get a ride (搭便车) to the center of the city?
—Certainly,please get into the car.
4.We can’t stay out late (在外面待到很晚) on weekdays.
课堂教学
Step 1 Leading in
1.Greet the class.
2.Let the students look at the picture on Page 17 and read the conversation.Teach how to make polite requests:Could you please...?
Step 2 Work on 1a
1.Let the students discuss the topic about the chores.
2.Ask some pairs to share their results.
Step 3 Work on 1b
1.Play the recording and make the students complete the task.
2.Play the recording again to check the answers.
Step 4 Work on 1c
1.Let the students read the conversation in the box in pairs.
2.Ask the students to make conversations about the chores in 1a.
3.Invite some pairs to act out their conversations to the class.
Step 5 Work on 2a-2b
1.Get the students to look at the box in 2a and play the recording.Then complete the task in 2a.
2.Have two students present their answers.
3.Check the answers with the whole class.
4.Play the recording again and draw lines to the reasons why Peter’s father says “no” in the chart in 2a.
5.Play the recording for a third time to check the answers.
Step 6 Work on 2c
1.Make the students role⁃play the conversation.Imagine one student is Peter,the other is Peter’s father.Then imitate the conversation in 2c to make a conversation as long as possible.
2.As the students talk,move around to offer language or pronunciation guidance as needed.
3.Get some pairs to present their conversations to the class.
Step 7 Work on 2d
1.Let the students read the conversation aloud.
2.Play the recording and get the students to follow the recording.Then ask two pairs to act out the conversation.
3.Lead the students to learn the conversation and explain important language points.
◇教学反思◇
在日常教学中,应加强听说练习,积极创造机会让学生开口说英语,表达他们的个人想法。本课时的话题是谈论家务事,与学生的个人生活息息相关,老师只要恰当引导,就可以激发学生的兴趣,展开关于这一话题的讨论。
