Protect the Yellow River
Dear students,
The Yellow River is known as China’s “mother river” . It’s about 5,464 kilometers long. It is the second longest river in our country and runs through many cities.
However, the Yellow River is in a poor situation. The water and soil loss is very serious. The water is badly polluted. Also, water shortages are even more worrying. So it’s important for us to protect it.
Firstly, we should stop fishing. Secondly, our government must make laws to protect our mother river. Thirdly, we should plant more trees on both sides of the river because it can stay in good condition that way. And we should never throw rubbish into the river. Instead, we should pick up rubbish along the river to keep it clean.
Let’s work together and protect our beautiful “mother river”. Together, we can make a big difference!
