Unit 1 Meeting new people 第一课时 课时目标 1.能够听、说、认读单词where,from,about,了解其含义并能在句型中正确运用。 2.能够听懂、运用句型“—Where are you from?—I'm from …”谈论自己来自哪个国家或者省份等。 3.通过学习活动，培养学生的交际能力。 教学重难点 教学重点：能听说认读单词where,from,about;会运用句型“—Where are youfrom?—I'm from ….”与新朋友交流。 教学难点：1.能理解句型I'm new here./What about you? 2.能灵活运用目标句型与新朋友交流，认识新朋友，了解新朋友。 媒体链接 图片：人物图片、介绍相关地理位置的图片等。 多媒体课件：包含词汇、句型及相关图片的课件。 音视频设备：含有对话内容的音、视频。 教学过程 一、热身（Warm-up） Sing a song:What's Your Name? Let students watch the video and sing together. Hello,hello.What's your name? Hello,hello.What's your name? My name is Ryan. My name is Anna. 二、复习（Revision） 随机抽取图片，即兴创编对话。 教师先准备好John,Mike,Sarah,Wu Binbin几位同学的图片，请学生随机抽取图片并回答教师提问。 T:What's your name? S1:My name is Sarah. T:What's your name? S2:My name is Mike Black. T:Boys and girls,today,I will introduce you two new classmates. 三、新课呈现（Presentation） 1.Watch and answer Watch the viedo and answer the questions. Q1:What's the boy's name?（带图提问，了解boy的意思） Q2:What's the girl's name?（带图提问，了解girl的意思） 教师分别出示Zhang Peng和Amy的图片，请学生抢答。 （教师及时引导学生观察，积极评价。） 2.Play and think （1）Play a game:Hide and seek 教师假装藏起学生的一支钢笔，然后问学生“Where is the pen?”,学生回答“Oh,it's here.",以此创设情境教授新词where。（划分音节，带读where,学生开小火车读，教师及时纠正发音，给予积极评价。） （2）Listen and think 听录音并思考问题。 Q1:Where is Amy from? Q2:Where is Zhang Peng from? T:So,boys and girls.Where is Amy from?Ss:Amy is from the UK.（课件呈现英国国旗和大本钟。） T:Amy is from the UK.Then,what about Zhang Peng?（在语境中感知whatabout的意思和用法。） S1:Zhang Peng is from Shandong,China. T:Excellent. （课件呈现山东省在中国地图中的位置。） T:Zhang Peng is from China.I'm from China,too.What about you?Where areyou from?Please ask and answer with your partner. 3.Listen and read 听课文对话录音，分角色朗读对话，教师适时对语音、语调进行指导。 4.Role-play and assessment 学生选择自己喜欢的地区或国家，并扮演这个地方的人，用上所学的句型，与同桌两人一组进行对话表演。教师予以评价，并请几组上台表演。 四、巩固与拓展（Consolidation and extension） Do a survey Name Where How old T:Now,please work together to interview your partners and fill in the table.Then do a report.
