2. 表示习惯性或经常性的动作,常与 always, often, usually, seldom, every day, sometimes, weekends, Mondays 等表示时间与频率的词连用。
I leave home at 6 o’clock every day.

表示所属关系,即表示某物是“谁的”。

1. 单数名词在词尾加 ’s

注:以-s结尾的人名的所有格的构成是在其后加’或者’ s,如 James’s 或 James’,读作 或 。

注:表示两个人共同拥有某物时,只需后一个名词用 ’s 所有格;表示两个人各自拥有某物时,则两个名词都得用 ’s 所有格。
