1.Check in for tour members and meet their needs.
Before checking in, Sally should ask tourists’ preference about seat or any special requirement. Then checking flight details and counting number of tourists are important when checking in at the counter.
Some students of this tour group want to take a window seat. Besides, there are three vegetarians in the group and they prefer vegetarian meals during the flight. So a key task of check-in is to meet every member’s demand.

Sally can properly check in for the tour group as following:
2. Check in for tourists’ luggage.
Sally should tell tour members about airline’s requirement on weight and size of checked luggage in advance.
But there still several tourists of the group might take a luggage that excesses the free allowance. In such a situation, asking the tourists to deal with the excess weight is expected.
3. Communicate with an airline clerk at a check-in counter in a clear and professional manner.

C: How many pieces of luggage would you like to check in?
S: Forty pieces altogether.
C: Please put them on scale...........oh I’m sorry that our free allowance is 35 kilograms, but these three suitcases excess the weight.
S: In that case, how much should we pay for the overweight respectively?
C: Let me count........clearly, we have to charge you 50 dollars for this one that excesses 5 kilo, 60 dollars for that one that excesses 6 kilos and 30 dollars for the baggage that is only 3 kilos overweight.
