Step 1: Let’s enjoy
1. 播放趣味动画片,让学生感知英语语言的奇妙,引出“the ways of learning English”的话题。
T: According to the video, we know that the old English was much more difficult than today’s English. Vikings(维京人)thought of some useful ways of speaking English, which made the language much easier. So what do you learn from this?
Ss: ...
T: Yes, the ways of learning English are very important.“English makes a lot more sense than you think” if we use right learning ways.
Step 2: Lead in--Fast reading
学生快速阅读课文,理解文章大意,了解Li Yan是如何学习英语的。
通过视频的观看,学生能够简单了解英语语言的一段发展历史,引出英语学习方法的话题。
为新知学习做铺垫。

Step 3: Vocabulary
1.出示PPT词汇知识讲解,包括 subject, but, yesterday, why, use及其它重点短语,并讲解词汇的基本用法。
2.学生听单词、短语音频,跟读,确保熟悉新单词及短语。

1.课件出示课时句型,进行详细讲解:

2.提出“How did you learn English?”的问题,学生运用课时短语,进行反复练习:

3.学生进行问答循环练习,巩固短语和句型的运用。
4.完成Let’ talk和Let’s chant部分教学。

进行故事和语篇内容串讲,带领学生完成篇后练习。
Step 7: Sentences
讲解课文中的重点句型,分析其中的知识点,主要包括:
1) Good morning, every one! I’m Li Yan. Let me tell you how we learned English.
2) Our English teacher taught us in many ways.
3) We often sang, danced, chanted and played games.
4) Our teacher usually let us do things by ourselves.
5) We did interesting tasks. Sometimes we did role play.
6) We used words and sentences to tell stories.
学生通过认读、听读、练习互动,熟练掌握单词的意思、发音和运用。
听、读课文,提高听读能力;翻译课文,了解课文大意;通过句型的反复练习,掌握重点短语的用法,并能熟练进行对话交流。
通过讲解、分析、练习使学生掌握语句及知识点的运用技巧,并有实际运用的机会。

本节课涉及内容较多,既有对第5、6课的新知教学,又包含Revision部分的教学。新课教学内容与英语学习方法有关,课文中的重点语句也基本都是一般过去时的语句,学生掌握起来有一定的难度。在教学中,教师要兼顾词汇、知识点的教学和动词一般过去式的引导运用,帮助学生在理解课文的同时,熟悉对所学时态知识的运用。最后的巩固部分,又涉及到对单元整体知识的回顾,需要教师做有效引导和归总,和学生对单元知识做整体复盘。
